Hello Chuck, Paige and all👋 Chuck the video looks great on big screen TV and phone! The details of the water, flowers and all is way smoother I love it, it's just a lot better in 4k what can I say... Yes it's worth it! I have a 3 hours sunset 4k video in my channel and my laptop is way older I promise you. You can do some changes in the render page, to make it easier on your GPU and more, less previous and such, or for example if you are working with cache, you can set it to render from it and you will save time. P.S Thank you, in the name of corn lady and her cart, for your "illegal" pavement job..yeah what that dude will say now 555

Hi Chuck, thanks for sharing your adventure with us again! Regarding the 4K, I think for your time (since you upload daily) and considering the average of people's equipment, stick with sub 4K (upto 1080p). As I think you need to weigh up against clarity vs usability. Just my thoughts...

Hi. The 4k looks nice, but I didn't really notice it much during the daily walk scenes. Maybe reserve 4k for special episodes like scenic mountain or ocean trips? Either way. Thank you for the entertaining content. 🤙🙏

Nice video Chuck. I watch on an iPad and can see a n improvement in the video. Is it worth spending the extra time and larger memory space? That’s something you’ll have to decide. Glad you ordered the midsized grips. You said you had baby oil to slide them on. I do my own regripping and don’t think oil would work. What you need is something that temporarily negates the double-sided grip-tape and provides lubricant to enable the grip to slide on. You can buy grip fluid from a golf supply store but I’ve always used simple lighter fluid. Lighter fluid is cheaper than what the golf store sells. The reason it works is that it will evaporate quickly and that allows the tape to seize the inside of the grip and therefore not allow the grip to rotate in your hands. I can’t see baby oil working the same way. But just because I’ve never heard of using it doesn’t mean it won’t work. Just my opinion from regripping clubs for 30+ years. It’s not too bad to do yourself but you’ll need a vise mounted on something stable, a rubber shaft vice that grips the shaft and prevents damage to the shaft and grip tape. Also, when removing the old grips if it’s a graphite shaft you’ll want a utility knife with a hook blade. Using a straight blade on a graphite shaft can cut the strands of the graphite and cause it to start shredding itself. Most all of the services I’ve seen you pay for such as car wash or changing a tire appear very inexpensive in Thailand and I would think paying to have your grips changed would be similar. But it’s up to you. Here it’s a nice winter project when we’re dealing with a foot of snow still on the ground.

4K looking sharper ...but a bit jittery om my laptop during pans. Maybe not enough grunt on my laptop ??? But it started to run smooth after watching for a while. I normally shoot 1080P which gives smaller file sizes to edit/render /upload. Thanks for the video !!! It is definitely a sharper picture.

I watch on my laptop so I don't really see a difference. For the grips a few more layers of tape can make a regular feel like an oversized. But yes, it is much easier with a vice - especially when aligning the spline.

The quality looks to be a bit sharper for sure but is it worth all the hassels you have to go thru .. only you can decide that one. We've all watched the lrevioys ones and I can't remember seeing complaints. Looking forward to the festival vlogs. Bushyboy Oz.

The 4k looks beautiful but it looks like you are using a higher frame rate? Maybe 60fps? It makes things like a car going by or a fence with vertical slats look stuttery, they are crystal clear when paused though. 30fps is best to give the video a motion blur and look more natural unless you are going to do slow motion.

Most hotels need your passport because they need to file a TM6 for a temporary stay. I know the driving liscenece has your PP number on it but its not a big issue carrying the passport.

:) is it worth doing 4k..... your cpu needs to have grunt.. lits a whole conversation in itself :) but yes 4k worth the effort it looks just lush.... so next cpu get AMD 12 CORE and nvidia mid level gpu.... and redindering will be a breeze:) it's just the way it it.... no laptop likes rendering 4k. and yes the video looked great :)
