There’s gonna be more action with Clarisse, we get to meet Tyson, and Percy is gonna get turned into a guinea pig! Not to mention the amount of character development and the great quotes. We’ll get more of Percy using his powers, not to mention more hermes, as well as hippocampi! And at the end of the season we’ll get to see Thalia!

The story of The Sea of Monsters is a mediocre to me, but let's see. I am pretty sure Rick Riordan and crew will find ways and will sprinkle it with something different that will shock the fans like me. The TV reboot for Sea of Monsters will be a challenge too, considering the film version was a huge disappointment. Good luck to all the men and women behind and in front of the camera.

Circe? The sirens? Polyphemus? Percy basically going full pirate mode with his control over ships and compass abilities (?). There is so much character development for Clarisse, Luke and Annabeth. Percy really comes into his powers and there is so much world building with Chiron and his backstory. Also book 2 kind of feels like a pivotal point for the books, because the later books become much darker and scarier (with character deaths, people going crazy, people going missing and all the angst that is tied to Nico and the neglect that he is subjected to). It‘s like this book is the gateway into the actual titan war and the end of Percy, Annabeth and Grover’s childhood.

Based on season 1, i think S2 would come out at the end of year 2025. Even now the production for season 2 hasn't started and it was still not announced yet. With all the script writing, pre and post production going on, casting for the new role (Circe, Polyphemus etc), it would definitely take 2 years to make it right.

The first season was too short and the gods didn’t seem very godly.; ares didn’t have the red eyes and he didn’t have an effect on people that makes them feel angry. The advantage of a tv series is being able to expand on a story! The series also isn’t as good as the books, which with Riodan in charge this shouldn’t happen.
