Yes. Though the issue with reproducing old guns, especially widely unknown guns, is that there's a very small market for them. And the production numbers will be fairly low, and the price will also be very high so that the low sales will still pay for the cost of tooling up to make the guns. As with the really common guns like Mauser 98 pattern rifles, 1911 pistols, M1 Garands, M1 Carbines, Mosin-Nagant rifles, etc. those guns were made in such large numbers that the price for an original gun is often lower than for a reproduction. Or the reproduction is not enough cheaper than the original gun to attract enough customers. That's not to say that reproductions are always a bad idea. Just that it's not as easy as a lot of people realize. The Schwarzlose 1898 and Steyr 1912 'Hahn' are two pistols I'd really like to see getting produced. I have my doubts, but who knows?

Bergmann 1910 , I can't believe that this gun was not more popular solely based on how cool it looks, this gun and the Lugar are the two best looking guns around, followed by closely by the colt pocket hammerless and the Walther-Interarms P38 .32

A nice looking design, every bit as good looking as the Mauser 96. All that it needed was a better cartridge, or a more common one

@@imyourdaddy5822 well my dream is to be a gunsmith one day, so maybe i can make at least very similar guns to these! And maybe if i have enough knowledge by then i can just basically copy the guns!
@luger_Mann
@luger_Mann 2 жыл бұрын
@@generalkenobi4509 perhaps but I feel that would be incredibly difficult, not just for reasons behind making them but the intricacies, cost and overall work and time it would take for just 1 to be completed I mean look at the actual luger Mann who makes the 45. Copy of the luger, it's quite expensive but the quality matches. Either way I hope it works out my guy but I'm sure you can understand my weariness of such suggestions, as I think alot of people have fantasized about making new productions of old firearms, at least I have.
@imyourdaddy5822
@imyourdaddy5822 2 жыл бұрын
@@luger_Mann I know I have, of course my interest is in the Glisenti 1910, I even had a book about it imported from Italy, it'd be fantastic to have new production runs of WW1 guns again, true Luger Mann is expensive but his operation is smaller than most and he's the only person really doing it I feel like if more people step up to the plate it could help alleviate costs in some ways like manufacturing, Just a thought, glad to see there's other people who feel the same way~

It kills me when they dont produce pistols like this anymore These classic ww1 and ww2 style pistols with old school blued Finnish?? 👌 Modern militaries would not buy these because they probably feel they are obsolete and old But for home defense and hunting? people whould love these and as shooting enthusiasts? What in jhon maddens name are modern companies doing ?

These guns would be terrible for home defense and hunting. And modern production of guns like these would be so expensive you’re not going to save any money buying one of these over an original Al.

danish army service pistol until 1949. since the ammo was obsolete after 1945, these pistols could be bought without a pistol licence, and you could take it home for decoration. The gun could fire 9 mm para though, but not automatic.

Творение сумрачного германского гения! 😮 На мой взгляд: дистанция от зеркала затвора до центра кисти, просто громадное! Получается дикий рычаг, который стремится подбросить пистолет вверх. Не самое грамотное решение

@@SusanneStender This gun was retired for service in Spanish Army and quickly search other service pistol, a local design, the Campo-Giro pistol in the same caliber.... Is well-knowed the weak design of this pistol produced by Pieper in Belgiium because Bergman can't made the whole contract. The contract was not completed for this weakeness. You must find a lot of information about it. Spanish Army, the operator, are wrong? Regardas!
