Blood Echo being an S-tier Perk (for once) | Dead by Daylight

Blood Echo is a really difficult perk to get consistent value from due its multiple trigger conditions. This match was the one in a million where it actually worked flawlessly and completely countered every exhaustion perk from the Survivor side. Oh and also we talk about the Original Pain add-on a little. 😅

Blood echo is actually good with legion, plague, and other killers with add ons that keep the survivors injured. Had survivors complain to me that i use blood echo. I believe all perks can be good with the right killers, add ons, and gameplay.

sorry, 10 seconds on rank 3 full hhook 5 seconds for 1 hook state. you could easily get a per that slows game down more or does more, lie lethal pursuer to get the first hook.

I really like how killer usually have this niche perk that might be good on them a lot like, demo stbl, hoarder on pinhead, infectious fright on oni. Hope they stop making killer have bad sinergias with most of perks like twins where the victor doesn't work with surveillance /discordance/stbl/surge etc to point where people just use ruin undying because its the only things that seem decent on them.

I think perks like Blood Echo and Mindbreaker would more satisfying to use if you could actually SEE when a Survivor is Exhausted. Maybe just a tiny icon next to their name while you’re chasing them to indicate they’re Exhausted would be a nice little thing to have.

Idk it's something to consider you could run this on legion, and sort of do a new forever legion, with blood echo, dying light, surge, nurse's or what ever you think fits best, you could do both mending add ons to make their life harder, I personally think it could be a good build

To be fair you could say that about most meta perks for either role.

It's a double sided coin. On one hand I do think it's a crutch perk ever since I stopped running them, but on the other I realized there's just things you cannot do without it. If you run zero meta perks as survivor, there's absolutely nothing you can do about camping or tunnelling. Many loops in the game can also require you to use an exhaustion perk, or need to be used to make it out of a massive dead zone. At this point the game is balanced around them, which is why the devs have removed a lot of the old exhaustion addons and penalties. I'd say the exact same thing about pop/ruin, corrupt, certain addons, etc. Blame the devs for not balancing perks, not people for using them regardless of what side they play.

@waxing gibbous Nurse, ruin/undying, tinkerer, BBQ, double recharge. Blight, Spirit, and Artist can do the exact same thing, ruin/undying can be substituted for basically any 2 gen perks. Don't pretend there are no sweaty killers or killer builds, there definitely are. Is it harder to play killer? Yes. Is there nothing a killer can do to win? Absolutely not. If you're bringing perks that can be "deleted" then stop running only hex perks, it's like complaining that the killer ran blood echo, played pyramid head, played plague, etc. The coin flips both ways. You can even play both sides without any meta perks, but you'll get stomped on many times in scenarios where you need that meta perk, it's just a fact for both sides. I don't even know why you're replying this if you don't play the game. Not the best angle to try and portray knowledge of knowing how to play...

I had a similar match with artist a few weeks back but I used her add on that made them exhausted when the crow swarm was on a survivor. Was really fun playing and seeing the survivors freek out here and there. I'd have look but I think the perks I used was (lethal pursuer, fear monger, the executioner perk that makes it so they scream when someone heals them and the artist scorch hook perk.

As a Oni, you are already looking to injured as many people as possible so you can have your power more consistently and along side sloppy butcher it just works.
