Yeah, especially I like, when opposite team has heroic lvl advantage, and there are 5 of them, while on our side might 1-2 dead at the moment.....But! They so badly want to run into the objective(no matter we can skip it for now) and so rush, that forget they are going there 1v5, 2v5 etc....😭🤦♂️

This isn't my experience, people usually follow up. From all roles I have the highest winrate with tanks, most people in lower ranks seem to have no idea how to play tanks at all, I'd say the most common mistake is diving in too deep, often ccing when your team is too far away to follow up in time.

if you are going to 2 man the best pairing would be a high sustain damage like Raynor or valla or hammer with a pocket healer like morals or alex or auriel or go a tank and bruiser so you can follow up on each others cc

This is the best video you've done in a while. Its funny, I was thinking a lot about this comp and playstyle the other day and was discussing it in great detail and why I liked Varian and felt he was underrated. Then I see your video with a picture of Varian and the title, and wondered if it was possibly the Varian blowup comp, and indeed it was! I've not played this a ton, but when I have, its pretty fun and honestly I like it even in uncoordinated lower rank games. I've had some great results with it, despite being solo queue. Varian's taunt and charge is one of the most telegraphed and obvious signals to your teammates to follow up. I find it much easier to get followup on taunt, than I would on a hook or Muradin stun. Varian's damage on its own is dangerous to squishy heroes (if they aren't at high health, he can pick them off on his own), and puts a lot less strain on his teammates to do damage, because he is contributing plenty of his own. His guaranteed and obvious engage is so much more reliable for your team. Enemies will often struggle hard against these comps in uncoordinated games, while this has got to be one of the easiest playstyles to pull off with randos. People will do their own thing in uncoordinated games and position recklessly, and this build will punish them. Its less likely a healer or tank will react in time to save them, as they would in coordinated matches. Burst, crowd control and waveclear really make this all work, as you point out. Support/Healer: As you said, a strong followup CC is very important for this playstyle. Taunt is strong, but its his only hard cc and on a long cooldown. If varian is the tank, your supports, bruisers, or both, need to have hard cc to compensate and fill in that weakness. I love Anduin, Malfurion, Tyrande, Stukov, Brightwing, Uther, Deckard and even heroes like Ana or Auriel. Anti Heals are outstanding (Varian's mortal strike is great with this playstyle, but a deckard emerald or ana nade is insane). As long as they are a good healer that can also land strong lockdown off of varian's taunt to confirm kills, they are excellent in this comp. Bruiser/Solo lane: Same thing as Healers, a strong followup cc with engage potential is amazing. Dehaka has got to be my favourite, his tongue and isolation are such lethal cc's that can be so hard to land (and are balanced around being easy to miss). Having them land 100% of the time because of taunt, creates an enormous and brutal cc chain, with a bit of displacement. Dehaka also brings good waveclear and map pressure. Imperius is great too, with his stun and high damage. I also like Thrall's root, Xul's root, Ragnaros Sulfuras Smash, or Rexxar's stun. I love the tanks who can offlane like Arthas or Blaze. They both bring amazing cc, more than any bruiser, and since taunt varian isn't as much of a tank as others, having a second tank can really ease that burden, with extra cc, engage and peel. Blaze also brings great waveclear. They can fill in Varian's weaknesses so effectively, while still contributing great followup cc and being effective solo lanes. Waveclear is always important, so be careful not to lose waveclear in this comp. If the bruiser doesn't have the waveclear, the assassins need to compensate, for the healer, tank and bruiser being terrible at clearing. Assassins: Greymane has gotta be my favourite, so much quick and easy burst, plus sustained poke. Jaina is excellent, Q build valla is a good one, Alarak brings nasty followup and burst, kelthuzad gets guaranteed bursty combos, Tychus is always great for shredding hp, Zuljin and Guillotine are good, and mages like orphea or chromie are great followups. Its just an awesome comp overall that's really underrated, and can excel in lower ranked games with less coordination, as its hard to deal with, and taunt is one of the easiest ways to get the team to focus a target.

Hello, NP. Recently I saw a very weird, but effective team comp. They were in 3-man. Anduin+jo and dd. The main purpose is: anduin uses light bomb on jo, then jo immediately uses falling sword, and when she's in the air, lighbomb triggers and stuns enemies, then jo lands. Enemies can't do anything with that. What do u think about it?
@EugenethePhilostopher4 жыл бұрын
There's also a variation when Garrosh throws someone with light bomb into the enemy. Also one with lightbombed Alarak charging. There's a lot of options, really.

Would you be interested in posting a video of a game on your smurf account this is "just not winnable" ~ and discuss how you dealtr w/ it? Like something where your team's last pick has been hovering healer the whole draft, and then switches to Butcher leaving your team with out a healer, and also drafting Butcher into the other team which has Johanna, Artanis, and Uther). He charges past Johanna over and over again.... dies three times in 6 minutes.. then calls "GG" and walks around core, until game is over. I freaking lose my mind when this happens, and a version of this happens to me every 4 games or so (I am Low Silver.. have been as high as low Gold).... I need to see how other people handle it, and I'd like to know if you can actually win a game like that.
@DaJayman6544 жыл бұрын
If you get a game like that the Butcher game you described then it's a loss, you're playing down a guy and they're feeding and that's incredibly difficult to overcome. All you can really do is just move on to the next game. In the long run as long as you never play like that your team will have less of a chance of getting somebody like that over the enemy team (4 chances it'll happen to your team vs 5 chances it'll happen in the enemy team).
@shblade59844 жыл бұрын
Play a sololaner like Thrall, focus on winning your lane, doing soak and camps. In low ranks you can mostly solo games if your macroplay is really good.

funny you have too make a video on this but I always thought this was common knowledge what makes tyrande and malf so good is they have hard cc and if can follow up on a tanks engage consistently they are super strong iv'e had too argue with people in the comment section before with people saying malf is the worst healer in the game and I try to tell them that what he lacks in healing he makes up for with hard cc then they reply but your never gonna land the root it's too slow then I ask them if they have ever heard of chain cc and then I get called a moron and noob and that's where I stop
@alextrollip77074 жыл бұрын
I gotta say. I really enjoyed old malf. New malf has to be played too dangerously to actually heal. If you're looking for roots sure malf is good. But why not draft a tank with decent cc and get an actual healer that doesn't have to facetank to get heals off.

I like it. You talk about taunt a lot. Could Garosh work instead of Varian?
@Xanthanarium4 жыл бұрын
He mentions in the video, anything with 'guaranteed cc'. Garrosh is kinda guaranteed if you can land a throw because groundbreaker is basically a guaranteed follow up, but of course throws tend to be a little hard to get without a setup. He, of course, COULD work. He can work in just about any reasonable comp. But unless you or whomever is tanking for your team is an experienced and really good Garrosh, it's probably not the wisest idea to go for him right off the bat, because this whole idea is about inexperienced teams learning how to work together, and he is a more technically demanding hero. Also, if you're bringing him up specifically because of his taunt, that's a slightly different thing. The reason Varian's taunt is good for this is because it's a highly reliable, point-and-click cc, it has a short cd of 16 seconds, and it's available almost from the start of the game. Garrosh's taunt, on the other hand, is much more of a teamfight playmaker sort of ability, because it can accomplish a lot more in a short time than Varian's can, but its cd is around a minute, and it requires good timing and positioning to pull off. The point of Varian's taunt here is to be something that can set up picks reliably and often. A good Garrosh can do that with good throws, but Warlord's Challenge would be better used for big teamfight plays.
