he left because he was only a LBs coach for the Bengals and ND paid a lot more. Bengals is likely to hire him back but this time as the DC.

@ true but most guys want to coach at the highest level . If you succeed in the nfl any job you want can be open to you. You also get more time to coach guys without the school aspect so the scheme can really expand.

@@Mattmusic11111111 I agree for the most part. But notre dame is a much better place to coach at compared to Cincinnati. An owner who refuses to pay anyone, and very little talent on the defense outside of maybe a couple guys.

Ohio State has more depth. Notre Dame has too many injuries. The mind may be willing, but injured flesh is especially weak.
