ND needs Burnam and Rubio back down the stretch. The DL is good in many respects, but they need “beef” in the middle and help on the perimeter - Oben really hasn’t shown up and losing Bothello and Traore is painful.

ND needs to circle the wagons. ND needs the DL to DOMINATE. ND needs the OL to be formidable. ND needs Leonard to connect on a high percentage of passes. ND needs to win the turnover battle. ND needs to win the special teams battle. ND needs to win. And win convincingly. I hope that happens. I truly do. Will see everyone on Sunday morning.

It is painfully obvious that this “rent a QB for one year” strategy has not worked. Leonard is not the answer, IF your goal is to compete for a Championship or even a post season run. No downfield passing game will not work against elite teams.
