Relax ND fans, Look at the roster ND is going to be fine at safety, yes it would have been nice to get this kid to come, the competition at the position is good and that was the issue when Blair committed. Michigan can have a guy that does not want to earn or win the spot

The level mental gymnastics of ND fans when it comes to recruiting is unreal. Think about what we DO have in the class and we’re 😢 over a decommit. Definitely would prefer him in the class but it’s not over. ND has up to signing day to make moves just like everyone else! This was a none issue until O’Leary left. This isn’t a “Freeman issue”.

Facts. Let’s finish strong. Still plenty of highly ranked players for Notre Dame to pursue. Hines, Robinson, Meadows, Owusu- Boateng, and Farimo. Even if we land 3 of the 5, that’s still really impressive and the class will be even stronger

The issue about losing an early commit who is highly touted and so forth is not so much that he isn't replaceable, not so much that HCMF is a great or not a great recruiter, but the fact that our losses to nearby major potential or traditional rivals for top talent have finally been reversed in recent history... So _having_ a reverse is a bad trip down memory lane but losing to Michigan is just an emotional bummer. Hate to lose to anyone, but, to Ohio, pretty painful, but Michigan, just about the worst (except maybe USC). Beside the acquisition of JaDon Blair, On3's recent re-jigger to the top 300 though jumped a bunch of ND commits and one of the few it didn't help was Ivan Taylor. As to the underlying timing of the whole thing - we're all conspiracy-enticed as an ancient environmental survival mechanism, but ultimately it just really isn't important unless there is a trend. I personally think there isn't really that much to see here. Hey, ya gotta talk about something, and you did a great job of being entertaining anyway! 😇😉 The Faison scholarship switcheroo was pretty transparent. The Lacross scholarships are usually limited to partials as their typical 12 and half scholarships they get are usually carved up to spread the money around as well as they can. Faison probably didn't have a full ride, with what was already committed, whereas the FB program could afford one. Baseball has a similar (if slightly worse) scholarship picture. Being offered a full ride FB scholarship might indeed be a pretty large step up from whatever portion of a BB scholarship he might have gotten either from ND or Vandy. Let's see, although as time ticks by, I notice more of the official services leaning towards putting him at ND in their predictions. Thanks for the great cast and GO IRISH!

Freeman can't seem to close on a lot of his top recruits and has a lot to be desired on his performance on the field on Saturdays he's not a elite recruiter and a terrible game day coach if no results on field this year maybe time to move on
