Very good sounding Cornet, in Spain all the Cornets we have are very thick because they have up to 13 ranks. However, the french Cornet with 5 ranks sounds very thin and, in my opinion, the Cornet from Notre Dame is the best one I've ever heard.

Notre Dame probably has at least 5 cornets, one for each manual basically and then a REALLY interesting grand cornet in the pedal based on 32', which goes all the way to the 7th (Septieme) in the harmonic series, as does the cornets in the Solo and Grand Choeur manuals. Notre Dame is heaven for those who enjoy mutations!

This pipe organ, exept for chamade or cornet stops is very very different from a spanish pipe organ !!!!!!

The Cavaille-Coll Grand Orgue of St.Sulpice also has a beautiful sounding 5 rank cornet.

If you like cornets, listen to the cornet on the organ at st laurenskerk in Rotterdam. It's a very nice cornet, especially since it's on a baroque organ. It's very prominent in the beginning of paul fey's improvisation on all people that on earth do dwell.

Un enregistrement " collector " avant le désastre de l'incendie du 16 Avril 2019 , de la cathédrale . Néanmoins , écoutez cette même oeuvre sur les orgues de Saint Maximin . Là vous entendrez de la très belle musique d'orgue .
