Really nice explanation! Your style of explanation makes so many fundamental concepts so easy to understand. You explained Schmid Factor nicely here. Can you please explain the difference between Schmid and Taylor Factor?

wow! what an amazing description.If I may ask can we evaluate or relate twinning and martensitic transformation during an impact between liquid droplet and single crystal metal? Can we model the dynamic of the plastic deformation and quantitatively measure the stress generated at the atomic level?
