Something I noticed is that the POV character changes - it's most obvious when they exit the nether, the one who made the portal goes through first, and _he's_ the POV character afterwards, because he also comes out of the portal first. It took me a solid couple videos before I realized The reason your videos feel like "classic" (~1.9 era) minecraft Is because it for the most part IS. There's the old nether, old villages, a lower render distance, and even the old lighting. Honestly some great attention to detail.

The first crazy steve has lots of different items like the water bucket but the player doesnt hold anything in their hotbar up until the stronghold with a piece of cobblestone. The player also always takes a spectator role while the other steve always seems to jump around and do weird shit. An explanation to the portal scene as the other dude pointed out was loading time.
