there was honestly nothing wrong with his WrestleMania match. The only problem was simply the crowd. I was in the stands and the crowd was doing its own thing in the Nakamura Styles match and Lesnar Reigns match and both matches were technically sound. But when you’re sitting for 7 hours you get restless. plain and simple Roman is one of the best workers and biggest drawers in the business. They guy can wrestle with anybody he sells pretty damn well for a Brawler or Powerhouse build and has a great look as well. People hate him because it’s cool to hate him. WWE fans don’t understand how much talent is in the company right now. Sit back and enjoy the product. Even If your favorite guy isn’t in the main event.

Roman's issue isn't personality. HE'S not doing anything wrong, and it's not an issue he himself can fix. What rubs everyone the wrong way is the fact that Roman's been on the main roster for just over five years, and he's been a Royal Rumble finalist five times and is a one time winner, has main evented Wrestlemania four times, one of which is a victory over Taker, and is a grand slam champion, putting him on the same level as Jericho and Orton, and yet NONE of it seems well deserved. In a way, it's the same issue that Jinder Mahal had. He was a guy shoved in the spot light before having a chance to prove himself. At least Jinder was fortunate enough to spend time on the mid card, which at least gave people something to cheer for. Roman? He was just a big, tough looking guy that Vince took favoritism towards, and basically fed him every fan favorite on the roster, including Cena, Taker, Braun, and so on. What's even worse is the timing that Vince chose. He chose to push Roman to the moon at the EXACT same time WWE started recruiting indie talent like AJ, Finn, Joe, Owens and so forth. Couple that with how amazing the women's division has become, as well as NXT's unstoppable momentum, Roman honestly never had a chance to begin with. Had he spent some time working and selling for another five or six years, people may have accepted him. Now? Unless he gets a complete repackaging, Roman will never be over with the fans.

like i said before im not a wrestling guru i don't know everything. In my opinion Roman is great. Sure was he pushed to the top quick yes. But the fact that hes been at the top for so long i don't think that's a bad thing. I mean you may say hes not "over" but at the end of the day whether you like him or not hes still pushing merch, hes still drawing people in, and you're still talking about him. So is that a bad thing? The problem isn't Roman. The problem is Brock. Give roman the strap and lets have some good feuds and good matches with Joe, Finn, Braun, Jinder ETC. Now yes they could be a team who takes a lot of pins for bigger names but they're still going to be on TV and Still entertaining like only they can. I guess what im trying to say here is. Our opinion and fandoms mean nothing so you might as well take what you can get and enjoy it. But you're free to do or say whatever you want man like i said im not an expert by any means.

Personally, I love Brock, and I'd be okay if he stayed champion until next Mania. But, really, Roman's issue has nothing to do with Brock or the Shield or anyone else. Vince KILLED Roman's character by pushing him too fast. The fans will NEVER accept him, at least not here in the states. and giving him the belt is just going to piss them off even more. But, then again, it's the results that matter, right? As long as Roman still brings in the money, then he's here to stay... Welllllll... Look at the numbers, the WWE Network has lost HUNDREDS of subscribers over the last year and half, most of them stating that they got sick of seeing Roman. In fact, the upheaval was so great that, just a few months ago, WWE actually considered pulling the Lesnar/Reigns match altogether, but only decided to keep it on after the reunion with Dean and Seth. But, what about merch? Again, looking at numbers, Roman isn't even close to being at the top of the sales. Above him, you have merch for the Bar, the Balor Club, Asuka's Undefeated Streak, and Strowman's 'Get These Hands.' Above them, you have the 'Yes!' and 'What?' t-shirts, and above them you still have Cena and DX stuff as top sellers, and above even THEM you have all of Ronda's new gear. And, you know what's at the very very top of WWE merch sales? Freaking Rusev and those damn Rusev Day shirts. My point in all this is that, as far as merchandise goes, WWE is selling better than ever, and even if they took every 'Big Dog' related article off the website, it wouldn't even make a dent in their total sales. Finally, I have to point out the obvious fallacy in the whole "we don't have a voice," idea that's going around. Us fans are the reason Daniel Bryan main evented WM 30, ahead of the breaking of the Streak! Us fans are the reason NXT managed to get off the ground and go from some bizarre game show to an actual, respectable wrestling promotion. Us fans are the reason guys like Rollins, Miz, Ambrose and all the other indie guys are even here. Hell, us fans are the reason WWE got rid off that stupid "Diva" nonsense and went and reinvented the woman's division entirely! If we didn't have any influence on the booking, then Daniel would be back in Ring of Honor, Styles would be in Japan, and Roman would be champion. What I'm trying to say is that it's only a matter of time before WWE abandon the "Roman Project" permanently, and until then, Roman's presence is just going to alienate fans and hurt the credibility of the people around him. Roman isn't here to stay, that much is certain, and WWE's attitude of "deal with it" isn't going to work. Eventually, the fans are going to turn on them, and it WILL effect them, and Roman is going to be the center of it all. Whether WWE Creative realizes this now or later, it will happen.

I have nothing against Roman Reigns as a human being and from what I've seen of him outside WWE he seems like decent guy but as a professional wrestler he just doesn't cut it for me. I hate it that he has the entire WWE machine behind him where there are tens of others who also deserve the same treatment.

Imagine if, instead of booking Reigns as the next Super-Cena or as a Beast like Lesnar, they build him like they did Ted Dibiase back in the day. Like him or hate him, when he's in the ring, he's one of the most capable wrestlers on the roster, and if you were to combine that with a cruel and rotten heel attitude, he'd be over as hell.
