I seen the TMZ interview on how he spoke it was amazing. Big ups to Darren he handled and presented himself with integrity, class, and confidence. It doesnt matter he's gay....if anything i think they can use that real-life background and work it into a story.! Pat Patterson, one of many wrestlers that helped pave away for the those we know today. He's a legend in the WWE hall of fame, also he's Vince's God brother if I remember correctly. He's the FIRST Intercontinental champion. He's also French Canadian, and gay, the news of his sexuality didn't come out till the late 90's I think. J.R. made a few clever quips about it, but nothing offensive (He's single fella's and The parade must be over). Look him up.

Darren Young was the first gay wrestler to still be in contract with wwe. Sure Kanyon(R.I.P), Orlando Jordan, and Pat Patterson came out, saying they're gay: But they were not contracted at the time. I think Orlando might have, but he was in TNA. Point is: Darren is the 1st gay wrestler to come out and still have a contract.

Titus seems like a wonderful guy. His in ring skills are ok, not great. But then again, a lot of WWE's picks for World Champ couldn't wrestle worth a lick, especially within the past 10 years. I don't understand why Titus continues to get the shaft. His Pancake Patterson gimmick was gold...I think once he got comfortable doing that character, any problems he had on the mic seemingly were gone. He was entertaining as fuck that one night because he wasn't trying to remember the company's words off of a script. I honestly don't think he's comfortable as jobber Titus reading scripts. You can tell, which is why he fails on the mic whenever they give it to him...he just looks like a big doof most of the time. Give this man something he actually enjoys doing and I guarantee you'd see a different Titus.

I could be wrong, of course, as it was a bit before my time, but I think fan knowledge is the difference - just like being out to your family is one thing, but being out to people that you work with, members of your church, or the general public would be something else.
