IRT Die Schatten Werden Länger: It's a song from Elisabeth the Musical, originally from Austria (and thus originally in German), about the life and death of Elisabeth, Empress of Austria aka Sissi. The musical premiered in the 90s and has since been hugely popular in many European countries as well as Korea and Japan, but no official English language version exists. The song that Kai and Dokyeom sing is a duet between the personification of Death (DK) and crown prince Rudolf (Kai). Rudolf is estranged from his parents and unhappy with his father the Emperor's politics, Death baits/seduces him into basically turning traitor and allying with rebels, which ultimately leads to Rudolf's suicide a couple of songs later. I would absolutely KILL for DK being cast as Death (or Rudolf, or Lucheni) in the actual musical, ngl.
