If you really want to go all out with making a martial art power house of a man, I recommend getting the peeler machine from the Skin Bandits as you can use it to rip off your own arms (just don't forget to have someone to pull you out of it afterward else you're in for a very rough time), then afterward replace them with skeleton arms as they provide quite an interesting bonus in martial art, with the bonus that they don't get hurt from usage.

@@Strat-Guides there's definitely a learning curve, but there's a lot of good advice out there, and a LOT of quality of life mods. Personal favourite is having a quick, strong character to be able to swoop in and pick someone up to keep them alive.

@@Strat-Guides Well it can be a pretty hard game but you can choose different starts so it would depend on what start you would choose, example : You can start as a slave with no money and you need to find a way out or like a wanderer or fugitive or instead with one dude you can start with 2 or even 5. But i would say it is definately one of the best games out there and theres also a lot of resemblance with the mount and blade games so i think you would also like it.

I love that the go-to method for training is "kidnap poor sod, use him as living workout equipment" Last playthrough I had 2, one guy I saved, he "lost" both his legs (I use him for strength training by knocking him out, filling his inventory with iron and carrying him for running laps around the city) and one who had "lost" his arms (used him as a combat dummy)

Great series, very much looking forward to part two! Would recommend investing in a bed roll so you can heal up downed enemies outside city walls, that way you can stay out longer and not have to worry about the guards busting down your door/stealing your kills.

Man I love Kenshi I played since the early days and made a group called the Masters. I named all the members of the group Martial Artists names. like Wong Kei Ying, Quwinja and so on. I made a compound with an arena and would capture people and had my guys train against them. Spent about 5 months but every member was forced to make mine, make weapons, armor and so on until they all were masters. They didn't have the weight lifting thing back then so I got a full set of Samurai armor and The best Horse Chopper for increasing str. Was such a fun gameplay. Oh you should loot the sandals that the Shek was wearing they increase runspeed.

I often see some people train toughness first because once you get higher dodge and higher damage it gets harder to train toughness. But most toughness methods rely on a companion to bail you out because the most EXP for toughness comes from getting KO'd xD
