I think the issue with Vaggie's wings is the same reason she didn't tell Charlie about her past. Subconsciously, she felt unworthy of her girlfriend's love. But when she finally let go of her doubt and self hate, her full potential was unleashed.

I'm just confused why no one seems to notice that he looks genuinely infuriated and frustrated after Charlie says that she can't understand how he can just enjoy everyone's suffering. Like, that dark flush in his face shows volumes. He is peeved so much. And yet, I have yet to see it mentioned by anybody. It's not like it isn't evident! Even though his tone is genial and even-keeled during his discussion on the importance of a smile, his wording differs. It is literally a thinly-disguised, angry rant about how she has badly failed to see through his mask of a smile. Which would imply that he lied about being there for suffering, or no longer feels that way. Even his body language changes. His physical contact with Charlie has been through dance, hugs, or making fatherly gestures (to piss or not piss off Lucifer, that is the question). But then, his body language became creepier, more aggressive. He grips her harder, forces her mouth into a smile, etc.

A few theories regarding Al not wanting Charlie’s soul: 1. He can’t. As Lucifer’s daughter and princess of Hell, he can’t take her soul in a deal like another sinner. OR the constraints of his own deal prevent him from taking souls in deals. 2. He genuinely doesn’t want it. He wants the favor because he hopes Charlie can order or convince whoever has him on a leash to let him go. Side note: I love Rosie. I kinda remember someone saying she was Jewish in life. If that is the case, as someone who is Jewish, she’s great. Her interactions with Charlie are like a Jewish mother or grandmother. Absolute perfection.

In the cannibal song he declares her with "So much potential I could guide." I believe he considers her a more valuable asset if manipulated instead of outright controlled. If he took her soul and it got out (or the eye theory is correct), her reputation and status as princess of hell might become worthless since she's obviously under Alastor's sway. Plus the wrath of Lucifer. But if he continued to endear himself to her and manipulates and puppeteers her from the background instead, he could achieve a lot more with her help.

I think that Alastor just didn't want to overplay his hand. It's easier to get a hesitant target to agree to an unfavourable deal by softening your hand. Compared to a soul, a "mere" favour seems like nothing in comparison and is much easier to fall for. Plus if Alastor had demanded a soul and Charlie refused, all his goodwill would have been used up and he would have been left with nothing. He could still have backed out gracefully if Charlie refused a simple favour.

My theory as to why Vaggie got her wings back: All her life after having her wings clipped she was probably fighting for the wrong reasons. As Carmilla said, she was fighting for bloodshed. After she solidified her reason to fight, which was to protect the people she loved and it being a "good" reason (as in alignment), her angelic powers probably just repaired her wings. Doing things for the right reasons seems to be a thing that "Heaven" rewards, at least in the last two episodes.

So, after the finale, my theory is that Alastor's favor will be Charlie handing him rule over Hell. She will technically not harm anyone, as she is basically stepping down from her responsibilities, and that may also free Alastor, as he will become the one pulling all the strings.

Alastor's favor is going to be that Charlie breaks his contract to whomever owns him. It's why he keeps encouraging her, keeps guiding her. Whoever has him on a leash, he probably thinks Charlie isn't just the one with the power to free him, but the only one who'd want give him his freedom. That's my prediction.

I think he may or may not do something like that, but that he doesn't necessarily have concrete plans so much as waiting to see how things develop before playing his cards accordingly.
