The fact that even though Moxxie and Millie were upset with each other, they were still able to TALK and LISTEN to each other in the end shows that this is just legit the best relationship in Hell. But I'm glad this episode exists because it cast light on both Moxxie AND Millie but in good ways. I can see people being further upset at Moxxie STILL reeling with self doubt, but considering who his father was vs who Millie's parents were it makes sense he'd have issues even as an adult-that just doesn't go away. It was nice to see things from a new POV too.

Millie might not get as much attention as a main-character, but so much of Moxxie's is him being looked down upon and disrespected. Blitz, Mollie's family, his own dad, practically everyone except Mollie in this episode. And it always seems to be justified by the fact that he makes mistakes or isn’t good enough. It's nice Mollie kept telling him he can do it for a week straight, but constantly failing while being told you can do it by someone who succeeds so easily is depressing. Insecurities are a nightmare. Mollie did her absolute best to help support him, but he needed a long and deep talk about how he didn’t need to prove himself capable of things outside his skill range, rather than telling him to keep going for these goals set for unhealthy reasons. Reaching for something you want to be great at as a dream? Good. Reaching for something because you feel it'll prove yourself? Not good.

I find it very interesting that when Barb tells Blitzo she never wants to see him again, she points directly at the necklace Blitzo has from his mother. She even touches the necklace at one point. Maybe the reason for this is because Barbie is indirectly telling Blitzo that the reason she never wants to see him is the same reason why he is the one wearing the necklace and not her or their Mom.

true but I'm also a bit of a Millie. Like, Danidraws from Twitter (I'm sure most of the fandom knows them) said that Milie probs felt like a shadow of her siblings, especially Sallie. So in a way, we can see a hint of it from Harvest Moon. There's the guilt and shame of even feeling like that in the first place. Like, wow I have a good life, why do I have to feel like this? My older siblings are just doing their thing and living their lives but I still feel inadequate. I can't talk to folks about it so I try to hide it as much. Can't really talk about it much anyway cuz people would say smth like, "is that all? You're troubled because your siblings have had tougher life experiences than you?"

I believe Blitzø was trying to distract himself from he's feelings after Stolas got hurt so he strated following a trail he knew deep down wouldn't turn out well, trying to rekindle a relationship with possibly the only family outside of Loona he has left, and i noticed he was spiralling more and more into his search for her, getting unnecessarily violent even for him and just not caring in the slightest even while knowing deep down her reaction to seeing him again, he's breakdown from his drug induced high was enough for me to piece together that he probably burned most if not all bridges to his life in the circus, family and friends literally and figuratively

For those who don’t know… -Barbie’s forehead crest thats crossed off is actually the mark of the circus Blitzo and Fizzarolli worked at with Buckzo (Their Dad from S2E1), it’s (presumably) not a family crest but rather an indicator that they are circus members. -The reason why Barbie touched the ball necklace instead of Blitzo is because that same necklace belonged to Tilla (who is from the pilot but recast as presumably their mom, you can see her in S1E7 when Blitz sees the last pic) and if Barb doesn’t want anything to do with Blitzo, maybe Tilla died and Barbie blames Blitz for it?

I'm guessing after the last episode with Blitz realizing that Stolitz can get hurt, he wants to find his sister and try to make up with her for lost time before he regrets it. I like how they show a healthy way to have conflict in a relationship and resolve it amicably. That isn't all that common yet in shows, at least not where it's done well. I have a show recommendation, It’s called Mobile Suit Gundam Witch From Mercury. It’s an Anime, The English dub actor for the main protagonist is Jill Harris, aka Charlie from Hazbin Hotel. The show has a strong LGBTQ focus, fun characters, a cohesive and strong story, has this mix of light hearted moments and very dark moments, and some incredible action sequences. After the Owl House ended, I felt a need to find something to get me engaged and make me look forward to what the future has in store, that’s when Witch from Mercury caught my eye. As someone who isn’t even that big of an anime fan, I highly recommend this to you. At 25 episodes the show wrapped up a few days ago.

Moxxie is literally the punching bag of the show so he genuinely thought it was his chance to finally be the "popular girl". It's understandable why he feels that way. Doesn't justify ruining the good mood of Millie, but it's understandable and they managed to talk it out like adults in relationships tend to do.

Thing is that teens girls, especially the upper crust of the populars, can be pretty cruel. Moxxie could have never integrated himself from the start like that and actions speak more than words. And that's moxxies problem, he's more of a talker. Instead of showing the girls that he's cool and hip, owning cool stuff and knowing the latest fashion trends or whatever, they would have been more welcoming. He also uses the tropes that are very much not common with the populars - they might have horses, but they don't love them as much as they brag about them. Moxxie could have lied that his legs got this way because of horseriding. Pink is a color that no one cares about except little girls. Simply put, he went all wrong with his approach.

The symbol on Blitzo's and Barbie's forehead is actually from the circus they worked at as kids, (it's the one we see in the first episode of the second season). It's also on Fizzarolli, you can only see it in his kid version in the same episode since in his robot-version it is covered up by Mammon's (the personification of greed and also the one who makes the robots) trademark (or at least something similar to a trademark) and in the real Fizzarolli it is covered up by some type of make-up. So it's a circus thing, his parents have it as well, along with the other workers of that same circus

Thats kind of just what hell is in the show. In their society, violence, corruption and depravity are completely normalised, while being vulnerable, kind and honest is seen as a failure. We`ve seen from flashbacks that demons aren`t born evil, but most have to become the worst version of themselves just to survive in such a terrible environment.

I think the symbol on their foreheads is the symbol for the family circus since Fizzaroli had it too in the flashbacks. And it wasn't crossed off in the old posters in Blitzo's office from before he was covered in his white scars on his face.

Yes!!! I’m so glad I’m not the only one that feels this way He’s painted as a spoiled brat in this episode but he’s anything but! He has been everyone’s punching bag for his whole life and the minute he gets a chance to shine and show what he’s made of…Millie just steals the show without even trying and breaks the ‘low profile’ just because she ‘needed validation’ which that honestly came out of left field imo Now…I could understand if roles were reversed-Moxxie gets popular and it gets to his head while Millie is like ‘babe we have a mission’ Pretending the killer wasn’t exposed right away, Millie kinda sabotaged the mission by breaking low profile and preventing Moxxie from getting intel I love Millie. I really do and it isn’t like I don’t want character development from her…but this…just wasn’t the right kind. She wasn’t abused or ridiculed her entire life Moxxie was and still is abused his entire life and I’m frankly getting tired of the Moxxie abuse-slapstick or otherwise

a little late to the party but I agree. I would think moxxie would be completely wrong if every moment he had to shine he wasn't immediately taken down (vs striker and his dad). I also feel like they try to lower Moxxie to raise Millie. For me, Millie was also wrong to want validation from some random teenagers who bullied her husband. They're a team, aren't they? I think it's a very wrong to support your loved one for people who mistreat you. Iknow Millie says she's doing this just for herself, but she was literally performing on stage for the teenagers. That doesn't make much sense

There’s been a few theories on the symbol on Barbie and Blitz’s forehead. Fizz has one too in Blitz’s old childhood photos and when you see them as kids at the start of season 2, I think he still has it now but it’s covered with a heart instead. The marking looks almost exactly the same as the symbol for lust. I assume it’s some sort of branding since they were in the circus or some sort of family crest.

The why Barbie wire has a human disguise is because of her Asmodean Crystal in her watch that also acts as a portal. Stolas looking at the book about the crystal might be hinting that he will give Blitzs a crystal and not need his grimoire as Stolas might start to think that Blitzes doesn’t have feelings for him
