Hmmm,.. it's close,.. it's definitely worthy of consideration. Certainly a nominee.. Not In My Bag is also right up there..

I used to go to a bike rally in Willits, CA (put on by the local rotary club) in the late 90s / early 00s. Amazing people in that area. Swimming in the river in the summer heat was a blast. Good times.

Late 70s early 80s three things that changed domestic growing from leafer reefer to actual sinsimilla nugs was mountain girls primo plant book, the sinsimellia technique by kayo, and high times shooting pictures of seedless from Hawaii for a year or two..the later equatorial strains kinda acclimatized themselves over a few seasons..my buddies were growing great east coast bubblegum in NY back in summer of 77 and 78, only a few plants in every spot would be early enough to get actual chunks.....I ended up in laytonville for a bunch of summers in the early 80s, it was full on by then and super cool to have been there at that unique time in weed history...

Great show..awesome to hear about the double wide greenhouse notsodog mentioned. Funny when Gabby chimed in from the comments saying notsodog looked like a cop at reggae on the river. People really like to get a sense of what went down off some of those old logging roads in the 1960-90s I think. Stories that you could turn into a movie

I would just like to offer my humble opinion and say that the black market days of 20 years ago was the golden time in the USA of weed… in the sense that the majority of the people that kept the bags full were passionate about the plant in the way that corporate cannabis will never be. There was a passion that isn’t going to bloom under a corporate structure. The interesting thing to me is that people who are passionate are in the minority. I think most people who consume weed in our country just want good weed for a cheap price. I think the real goal is to ensure there are small coalitions of passionate growers that always push back. We see weed different than most people. For some it’s a life long passion, for some it’s a paycheck, for some it’s a habit, for some it’s a devil. The spectrum will always be there it’s really just about keeping our part of the passionate spectrum alive and well.

Crybaby is looking at 70s cannabis business in the context of modern quasi legal cannabis market......there was shit tons of stamped and bagged Lebanese hash all up and down the east coast during the summer...blond eight ounce burlap bags straight out of Barnagat inlet in jersey....there were freighters full of hash that were coming up the St Lawrence to Montreal in the late eightys....every summer weed became super scarce and the blonde hash came around with an occasional temple ball..

Bless up. This kind of talk hits all the right nostalgia buttons for me. I started smoking/growing in WI in the mid 90’s, and I’m dead head. I don’t even need the shows to have a topic! Just let natso ramble, and let me remember what life was like when I was 20 years old again. Natso - 🎶 “sing me back home” 🎶 lol

Beautiful. I get those flashbacks myself. Sometimes even kaleidoscope eyes. Got my first beans on Halloween night in Columbia SC. I sure hope that wonderful person is still dancing. Would really love to know what some of the Kind Bud was. Much love

I got seeds from a guy that was in Germany when the Berlin wall come down. He is one of my mentors and I still know him to this day, he told me about the word (Mull) that come from the word Mullumbimby, it was a refrance to famous strain. But the word Mull ment, "to chop or cut". It was originally ment as a refrance to quality like SKUNK. They say. Have you got any MULL as in MULLUMBIMBY madness. Wich also ment, have you got any good quality cannbis.

Talking about EU: In Spain everyone thinks that is legal to grow weed, the thing is that only the growers know that is not true. Weed is completely illegal to grow in spain. What a time to be alive haha

1:39:00 not especially shade (which is also good though for in-between regeneration and nice high&low-stress circles) but diffused light is what they really love, less burns and abnormalities when using high intensities or unusual light spectrums (I love experimenting). Just imagine the difference it would feel for oneself if standing below a concentrated light beam "checkerboard" in contrast to milk glass in between.
