This is from a festival called "La notte della taranta" that takes place in the province of Lecce in souther Italy and is dedicated to the "pizzica" folk dance and music. "Pizzica" means "it pinches" or "it stings" and is a folk dance. The pizzica was called this way because it was linked to the phenomenon of "tarantism" according to which a woman bitten by a tarantula was infected with mental disorders that could only be cured with wild dancing. The pizzica, therefore, was performed with the aim of "exorcising" the tarantula-ridden women and healing them from their illness through the dance that this frenetic music unleashed. Interesting fact: in that area of Italy is still spoken a bizantine greek dialect called "griko"

ciao, mi fa molto piacere che apprezzi la nostra Angelina, Questa manifestazione si chiama "la notte della Taranta" prende il nome da un ballo tipico pugliese "la taranta" rappresenta persone morsicate da un ragno " la Tarantola" anche se è un ballo di gioia di liberazione. Angelina ha cantato in dialetto Salentino credo che la maggior parte degli italiani non ha capito una parola di questa canzone, appunto perchè il dialetto salentino è impossibile da capire per persone non del luogo, comunque come hai visto è stata fantastica e noi l'amiamo moltissimo, il titolo della canzone vuol dire"piccolina" o "bambina" non è molto chiaro neanche a me.
