Nottingham - In and Around and Goose Fair 1960s

8mm cine film taken during the 1960s and recently transferred to DVD. The video contains footage of Wollaton Park, Nottingham Castle, the Market Square and other parts of central Nottingham. It also includes a sequence showing Nottingham's Goose Fair.

Hey Syd! I really love how you've captured one of the many great staples of Nottingham. I'm a filmmaker too, and currently finishing a documentary about a fashion designer from the city. In an interview with the designer's Grandmother, she reflects fondly on her time at the Goose Fair in the 1960s.
