He is the reason why United's midfield looks so dynamic and not static like before. He encourages the players to move around him and make runs. Very intelligent player indeed. The Between-in-line plays is highly practiced by the Portugal squad under Fernando Santos so it is no wonder he uses it so oftenly and effieciently.

Especially if he either matches, becomes close to, or exceeds KDB's goal/assists numbers in these two seasons, he will prove that he is the greater player. This is because, 1. KDB has been playing with City for that long, 2. KDB has played with and plays in a team that is also more offensive minded (more possession to get the best out of his talents & are more easier to improve link-up play because of it) , 3. Bruno's improvement rate so far (all the way from his Sporting CP days to now) One thing, however, is that this summer's transfer window is different, both because of the outbreak, KDB&other players' contracts, and Pep's talks of leaving, not to mention City's medical team that is not only crap but also actually in decline compared to the past. Everything suggests that this is the one to decide whether to make a move or not for big names in City in their respective careers. That being said, I believe in Bruno that he will soon surpass prime KDB's records unless the Belgian moves to a big CL club such as Bayern, Real, Juve, etc. Side note: Atleti is also a big club, but doesn't suit his style. Barca does suit his style but isn't a good CL club atm (garbage team balance [not to be confused with team composition]), managerial issues (tactics + inability to motivate players), Europa league level defense. KDB at PSG might even be more exciting than these two clubs. Oof sorry for the fucking essay; didn't notice whilst typing.

I think the scoring capability he has shown in Sporting will come out in full eventually and in that aspect it would be like Frank Lampard, legit i can't wait for next season especially if we get sancho and grealish, if we keep ighalo as a backup striker which is a very high chance we will have the squad depth we need, sell lingard and periera and then get gomes to sign the new contract and grow as player as the no.10 and he will learn so much from bruno who's a natural leader like we will be title contender's if we get these players in and hopefuly a cdm in partey or another quality young cdm either in the summer transfer or january. defensively we r great just bring in more youth through and we will be like the United of old back were we should be. Like the current team we have rn, if fully fit, on paper has the ability to beat any team in the league and in europe. He is a generational talent. His vision reminds me of Scholes. The questions are why nobody bought him until now, and why he costs below 50m? I really like what Ole is doing so far with transfer. He is cutting all the fat, and all of his signings have been spot on. Young players also made clear improvements under him. He is not the best in term of tactics, but honestly in modern football, quality of player is way more important than tactics. You have players like Bruno on the pitch, and you barely have to do anything as a manager.

These world class signings aren’t just for fan base excitement and more shirt sales. The team itself feels refreshed in all positions after someone world class and new comes in. Also, I know most fans don’t want pogba to come back, but really, this is the chance to see pogbas potential. He’s always been held back by mourinho (a conservative game planner) and never linked up with a world class midfielder before. Bruno being a risk taker could revive pogba’s juve form and what Man U have been looking for all along. Imagine a midfield with holding Fred and number 8 pogba and 10 Bruno

I'm a Sporting CP fan and one of the things about Bruno Fernandes that makes him great it's his mentality in-game and outside the game. You can be sure that he is already one of the leaders in Man Utd's locker room and well liked and respected by everyone, it comes natural for him. Congrats for united and united fans, since considering the quality/price relation it was a bargain. Man Utd is my second favourite team in football (will always remember watching that '99 CL final with the goals in extra time from Sheringham and Solskjaer and celebrating as if it was my first club). Bruno is not Pogba's replacement. Pogba never took off the way Bruno did. Pogba never showed passion for United, never tracked back, never tried a risky pass nor ran so much to find open space. Typical example is when he lost the ball in the midfield against Palace and sat on the pitch watching us concede. Bruno elevated us so much in just 9 games... This was what we expected from Pogba 3 years ago...

Highly, highly intelligent player he is. Creates space, takes note of his surroundings, is a phenomenal passer. What he needs is a player who can match his intelligence on the field where he won't always need to dictate play but can simply act, because the other player will be able to read what Bruno will do.
