Toyota actually reached out to BMW to collaborate on the Supra, the reason being is because BMW is the only company left that still makes high HP inline-6 turbo engines. Toyota used to in the past with the 2JZ/1JZ but they moved away from inline-6 turbo and no longer have a modern inline-6 turbo engine to base tthe car around. So the only way they would be able to bring back the Supra would have been to collaborate with BMW. This is also why people call the N54 "the modern 2JZ" because it has fully forged internals and is an inline-6 turbo just like the 2JZ.

The N54 was also the predecessor to the B58 which is in the 3.0 Supra. A lot of what BMW learned to fine-tune the B58's performance and reliability factor came from the "unreliable" N54. Really glad BMW stuck with what they were good at and didn't ditch the inline 6 platform all together. Beautiful and well performing cars and I'm happy to own one even with the maintenance lol

#1 seatbelt Your positive vibe has done so much to me and my life. Your channel is really underrated. I personally love you want new vehicles alot. It helps us break down the good and bad of all models. Please get a 2014-2021 tundra as they are all basically the same and can be modified to be bad ass. Your channel would grow huge. The dodge/ford/gm or other brand channels are played out already. Very little on the Tundras on KZbin IMO.

yea man the "body lines" are all Toyota, look up the FT-1 concept. Looks like the current supra, just far bigger and more flared, like an aventador size. I assume they took the concept's style and applied it to the z4 chassis once the deal with bmw came around. Did a pretty good job imo. Still would be cool to see a v8 powered, $100k+ car that's built completely on the ft-1 concept but that's definitely not happening haha

Nour what is that method you use on the window glass , is it glass cleaner with a razor blade ? If so how do you not scratch the glass is it the lubrication that helps not scratch it or You angle the blade ?

All that’s high strength steel Nour, it’s a bigger job then you think. Absolutely doable but a lot of frame shops won’t pull that and will opt with a cut and replace
