As I watched this I couldn't help compare and associate Hmong French Guiana with Hmong Thai and Laos too. The warm weather and the New Year outdoors is probably what sets them apart from Hmong US. It is nice to know we all are keeping our Hmong heritage regardless of where we live.

i have to agree with you b/c french guyana is one of the richest country in south america. who knows, since it is a fairly new country hmong people around the world can make it their own country one day.
