Thank you for yet another great, insightful review Ziad! You helped me choose my current glider, the Mentor 7 Light S, which I love! I flew the Mentor 7 in Colombia and other places and will do SIV with it next month in Ölüdeniz. After that, and after watching and reading your reviews, I think the Codex S is a natural step up to the C class. Keep up the great work!

Glad to see you can still fly. I flew to Beyrouth for Xmas and we had unkonwn aircrafts in the North airspace between Cyprus and BEY, probably from a « southern state »… Stay safe.

Its awesome to see the evolution of gliders and nice to see again the old D like the puma in news videos of 2 liners comparisons. Do you think my Photon has the same performances of the Zeno 1 or Leopard(Puma)? For my opinion is yes 😊

Hi, Thank you for your nice message. I think the Photon is a top 2 liner performer, and has a very close glide angle to Zeno 1, but still the Zeno 1 has exceptional floatability in weak thermals that is still superior. Happy flights

Hi ziad, thanks for doing this review! I wanted to ask about your experience with this glider's top speed. Based on your comparison table, you listed the top speed as comparable to an alpina 4, while slower than a lynx 2. Is that right? Despite the 2 liner vs 2.5 liner advantage?

Yes, the Codex top speed is trimmed slightly slower than the Lynx 2.
