I’ve been working on my ‘51 zb31 rigid’s gearbox. I needed to replace some of the gears from over wear(it was a hill climber!) I’ve been worried about the shaft side clearances because of what I’ve read regarding the shims. What is the specific proper clearance on those shaft/ gear assemblies? I’d heard that you check it before you put the gaskets on. Any help at all will be appreciated!
