This is Nova’s tribute to her family. Just 2 days after recording the song, Nova got a call that her grandmother, who had Parkinson’s, had died of a heart attack. Just a week after grandma’s death, they made this video. The emotional pain is real and easily felt. She made this video before the rona shutdown, over a year ago, and has been sitting on it. I have several patients who have parkinson's disease, and it's the hardest thing to witness from seeing the patient and the family go through this!! I see it more than now as a hospice Nurse, some days, I'm crying on the way home!! #HOG

7 years ago, my son was 19, he died after falling asleep at the wheel, he would be 26 today. Crazy to think in 4 more years he would have been 30 but he never made it out of his teens. he was my first born. I miss him every single day.

This video prompted me to look her up. I don't know even 1% of what she's seen, but it's clear she has been through IT. One fun fact, from age 3-9 she lived part time in Jamaica. From 9-14 she lived full time in Jamaica. I wonder if she speaks Patois. 😊 Anyway, this song is deep. Definitely want to learn more about her. Thanks for the reaction!
