Great review, Jeff, thank you. Straight to the point, just facts and no filler. There are a few reviews of this drill press on YT and elsewhere and you were the only one who measured run-out, very impressive numbers.

Man that's nice! I sure it's worth the $1,000 price tag.

I don't know about Viking but with the Voyager you can press and turn the dial for fine depth adjustments.

EJ, Thanks for offering that idea. I got all excited and ran out to shop to try your idea. So sad.... It did not work. Oh well, it is interesting to know there seems to be a difference between the viking and voyager. Thanks again for you comment. Jeff

I just got mine. Oddly the sounds doesn’t work in mine. No beeping. Turned sound on in the menus….nothing. Tried turning sound off in the menus….nothing. Other than that I like it. That beeping though when setting a depth was a great feature I thought. Wished it worked on mine.

I haven’t been able to find any info about the manual depth stop that you mentioned. Does it work well? Is it a dial-kind that you spin then lock?

Can you do rapid holes when the depth stop is set. Like when it stops and reverses can you go right into drilling another hole immediately and it will start spinning again to drill the hole?

"It was heavy though doing it myself" Trust me I know! I dragged one of these home yesterday pre-assembled (floor model); I can't tell you how many times I almost dropped it!

I'm thinking of purchasing the floor model too, any regrets?

Where did you purchase it from and what did you pay?
@alimaleki2173 жыл бұрын
@@checkmatearmament2281 I bought it from my local Woodcraft. I don’t recall if I got a discount due to it being a floor model but it wasn’t a consideration; availability was.
