I live in the U.S. no custom fees.. I love this drum and play nearly every day. It sets on the table in my main room. always good to hit the low note. I love this drum. You will be very happy with the purchase.

Can it really play 36 notes?

They are overtones. Talented players can place their fingers at different positions over the notes to obtain different sounds, but it is basically a nine note instrument.
