Novag Diamond II - How to build a serial cable to PC

Novag Diamond II - this video shows how a cable was made to help Novag communicate with a PC which has Arena 3.5 software, and the chess engine Stockfish DD loaded to help in analyzing chess games.
To make cable you can buy the 3 separate items via Amazon or Ebay:
1) RJ-12 Jack 6C6P - male/male
2) RJ-12/DB9 Adapter female/wires
3) DB9/USB Connector wires/male
Total cost around $20.

The Novag Distributor cable they no longer sell anywhere on the internet, so you have to make you own with 3 items you can buy from Amazon or Ebay for about $20 total. 1) RJ-12 Jack 6C6P - male/male 2) RJ-12/DB9 Adapter - female/male wires 3) DB9/USB Connector - female wires/male usb The video shows you how to create the final product. NOTE: If you want to see the detailed annotations of this video, you must watch with a PC or Laptop, because Tablets or Smart Phones do not show detailed annotations on KZbin, and they are important to making this cable.
