what a joke espn and other media companies are for still going on and on about how novak's serve was previously bad even though that was literally more than a decade ago, if you watch his matches, you would think his serve was bad as of yesterday. His serve was only bad for about 6 months in 2010 and 6 months in 2018. Btw, incase anyone is interested. Rafael Nadal actually had worse serve numbers in both 2011 and 2022 according to the atp website based on the % of service games won, which is the most important statistic yet you'll never hear espn or any other media company that covers sports regularly talk about how his serve was an impediment to his game talk about it on and on
@echochamber12342 ай бұрын
you won't hear about Nadal's serve because he had practically given up on fast surfaces since the mid 2010s. We talk about people who adapt successfully, not the ones that don't.
@tijgertjekonijnwordopgegeten2 ай бұрын
They're literally talking about it in order to praise him and you somehow take it as an insult. Many younger (or newer) fans might not have known his serve was bad before he started his ridiculous winning streak in 2011. It's also dishonest to say his serve was only bad for a little bit of 2010, because before that it also wasn't good.

82% is high enough to finish 3rd in the world but not 1st. 6 foot 2 would not to be considered tall when it comes to best servers or if your name is not Roger Federer. @huzcer2 ай бұрын
it's mainly Fedal copers who hate Djokovic. Yes they are totally different sports. Never mind the fact that while the other 3 slams had 128 players, her Australian Opens then only had 32 players and more than half of them were Australians and the Top players of the world were not even there. Plus most of them not won in the Open era. Her "records" of the Australian Opens are totally hollow - you would have a stronger field in a WTA 250 tournament of today.
