Nishesh just has a way of playing that cannot be taught. Ultra high tennis IQ, good decision making and point strategy, rarely over hits and just constructs the point in a very methodical manner. We will absolutely see more of this kid in the future, I believe he could go quite far. What more can I say about Novak? Young gun vs the master of tennis and of course he shows us how this ends every time, age is just a number for this guy and that alone is incredible.

Sure there were times when he blasted returns and took chances, but he's just able to produce a variety of shots which keeps his opponent unsettled while also having good footwork/stability (this is high tennis iq).

Basavareddy got a super clean, well-rounded game. Clean ball-striking for a 19 yr old. He was playing incredible, but he didn't have the stamina to continue. Had he been fully healthy, he could've upset Novak ngl

I thought Basavareddy played great up until 4-3 in the 2nd set, he really took it to Djokovic and had him on edge, however he covered almost twice as much court as Djokovic up until that point. Unsurprisingly, the cramps then set in and it was rather straightforward for Djokovic once he won the 2nd set. I'm a fan of Basavareddy already, got great tennis IQ, makes pretty good decisions during points, looking forward to watching more of him. Best of luck to Djokovic this AO

Novak has gotten slower due most likely of his aging through the years. He is the only remaining of the Trinity so we should enjoy him while he is still in the game.
