I've met her too, she's the most down to earth, genuine person I've ever met and always wants to support the most vulnerable in society. Now she's getting punished for voting for such people. I'm not sure on that bit, whether she is still a Labour MP until thrown out of the party, or no longer a Labour MP unless she is cleared of all charges. She has no need to resign as an MP, she has done nothing that her constituents would disapprove of, nothing obviously inconsistent with her pitches to constituents during the election campaign. She has five years to prepare to repeat what Jeremy Corbyn managed in Islington North - defeat a Starmer candidate in a General Election.
