I was so confused about the maximum steps per sequence. It's 16, but people say it's 128. It's only 128 because of the ability to chain patterns together. So if there's 8 patterns available per track, and each is 16 steps (at 16th note/standard step sequencing rate, which equals 1 measure), then you can basically make Pattern 1 and 2 together become a 32-step sequence. Or Pattern 1 2 3 and 4 together would be a 64-step sequence. Sometimes the information is a bit misleading. Hope this helps some people out there!

They made the perfect device, except for this. It is the only thing that keeps me from buying it, and I can't really understand WHY. What were they thinking?

Sessions are one of the best features of the SL MKIII. That, combined with Templates, and the complete customization.... I'm not even bringing the sequencer into the mix... just, Sessions are fantastic... switch up to 8 Templates on the fly... with a few button presses. Magnificent.

Are we able to save the sequencer's content into DAW in midi format for further crafting?

Can sequences be transposed using single key presses (like on Moog Sub 37 and many other synths) ?

If you watch the gear used by Jordan Rudess, this set looks like a toy.

For "music" like this, 2 chords, 2 bar loop, 3 notes... you don't need any controller, jut draw this crap in daw.

Jesus, when that horrible clanging Peak sound starts looping around 6:00 I can't believe he chose to loop that...it's not in tune, it sounds obnoxious...why are demo guys so horrible at making music? You have all this amazing lighting and shit, but can't even play a chord And then the crap starts up again around 10:00..and is only slightly less worse

Not all are horrible, they need to get people that know how to play at least a genre of music. It's not a good look, I agree with you.

@@rahim4411 The point of this demo is that every idiot can play it, It's totally useless the bring a Jordan Rudess to play it but for marketing purposes. It's a good product for people making both dj set or piano bar.
