Lyrics:
I've been hearing you murmur about a thousand times.
The minutes are running like rabbits and I'm chasing words.
It's almost midnight,
You're probably already sleeping,
The sandman by your side.
So we'll meet in our dreams.
I've been far, for so long.
I swear, soon I'll be home.
If my heart is cold wrap it up please, warm me up.
I see the miles pass one by one on the rear-view mirror;
Driving, 'til the night's end, foot on the gas,
Leaving all the rest behind.
It's 5am and I'm miles and miles away from home.
Frozen.
Following the signs along the road.
I've been far, for so long.
I swear soon, I'll be home.
If my heart is cold wrap it up please, warm me up.
I see the miles pass one by one in rear-view mirror;
Driving, 'til the night's end, foot on the gas,
Leaving all the rest behind.
I miss your presence, I need you by my side.
I wished a thousand times upon these shooting stars to see you cross that door
'Cause I feel half alive since you're gone.
Directed by Pavel Trebukhin @ TRE: www.tre.lv/
Additional camera by Benjamin Bachelard
Produced, mixed and mastered by Nicolas Delestrade and Amael Durand at Ndse redcordings.
Guest Solo by Pierre Danel of Kadinja.

This is one of their finest hours. This song evokes so much emotion and freedom of spirit. It's a sure bet that no other metalcore band can touch their musicianship. They are French trained classically taught musicians probably. The guitar is so jazzy. The drums are so complex...

This song means a lot to me, standing as the anthem to some of my hardest times. Seeing it put to pictures summons a whole new appreciation, and needless to say I was tearing up as soon as I pressed play. TRE pulled off a fantastic job with those creatively captivating visuals, the only touches I'd have added would be 1) incorporation of the guitar, as the song is mainly driven by that instrument, 2) to stick with either square format or 16:9 because it switches, and 3) to show Lotti singing near the end, because, goosebumps. ;) Still, I can't stress the genuineness which oozes from all you guys put forth! Please never stop.

This song is a masterpiece. The combination of Novelists incredible interpretation of music itself combined with outstanding Plini on the solos and Lotti Holz (honestly I did not know her before, hope to hear more of her!) is unvelivable. I think you can not put more emotion into music. And to be clear, even having problems to come down to feelings some days - this song touches me every time. I will forever love this album. It's up there with ascendancy, shotgun, the cleansing, the price of existence, singularity, perception and a few others but this has been my favorite ever since you guys destroyed me with the "heartfelt" demo and put me back together with "souvenirs". I love this band. I literally show anyone I can this album and am so excited for a new one and waiting for y'all to come to the US, don't care how far I have to drive to see you guys. with all that said however as much as I love the frontman and the lyrics, I'm a guitar player so I really want to see Flo play his solos on these videos. they also show only a glimpse or in this case nothing. I really feel like he is the star of the band even though everyone is amazing. But he has so much skill I just want to see it. I'm a hugeeeee fan. good luck and have fun on the new album/future tours.

Dan Goodwin for sure agree honestly I think it IS the best I've ever heard and that says a lot. can you believe how many sources rated it a 2 or 3 out of 5, siting it as generic deathcore and djent. I have no idea what album they heard. this song for example is the opposite. I love the lyrics on this album though. It's so personal and romantic and not what I'm used to with this genre. It's so relatable.

This song has been on my playlists for awhile- I went to go get my pet cremated... and then while I was driving in the rain a couple of days later to pick up my pet's paw print as a memento and this song tore me up so hard. Looking back it was really cathartic and now this song has a really special place in my heart. Such an awesome band. frankie taylor I couldn't agree more. I never understood what people meant when they said an intangible thing like music got them through hard times until I listened to Novelists. Now it makes sense. we listen to music to get us through hard times by passing by the time listening and keeping our mind off things. when I listened to heartfelt by them I had such a connection to the song that it made me cry and was actually happy someone knows exactly how I feel and if someone ever asks me how I feel I can show them that song and not have to struggle to define what I mean because the song does that perfectly.
