The melodic riffs really do stand out. It's very late 80's/early 90's type of feel, but made thoroughly modern. It's like the Mark Tremonti / Kelan Luker type of riff, but applied to a much harder sound. I absolutely fucking adore their sound. Miss Matteo though. No hate to other singers, he just fit the sound better imo. So much emotion without even singing in his native language!
@juggsauce8 ай бұрын
I've had some time to reflect and I saw them live a few days ago. I think back on other bands Ive loved that I didn't really care for their later albums because they either grew in a direction that didn't resonate with or didn't change enough. Once I stopped feeling bad about what could have been, I started to really appreciate the fact that this band is constantly evolving and not afraid to do so. It's a different sound but I've really been enjoying it. Camille was amazing at what she did live and was the only band member at the merch stand after every act. Very cool to talk to and she seems so excited to be in the band. I'll always be nostalgic about their old sound but it did me wonders to realize if Matteo had stayed, they could have easily went the way of Linkin Park after meteora (I didn't like them after meteora). So these days I'm happy that it happened and the albums are recorded instead of sad that there might have been more of the same sound in another life.@chriswooton2637
