November 04, 2024 - West Coast Beach Updates Paynes Bay Beach with J (Barbados Live)

So for the past week, we have been travelling along this section of highway and seen the trucks, driving down the public walkway to the beach. We have discussed stopping each time but something always drew us away, so today we decided to check it out for ourselves and of coarse, as usual, we took those who were able to come on our live broadcast, with us on our stroll.
This section of the coastline was hit really hard by the swells off of Beryl, but as you can see, the property owners along this stretch, are doing everything with in their power, to have things return to normalcy...and...we are also seeing, that the rebuilding of this beach has started, it will be long and slow process however, it is already looking better.
