This randomly showed up in my recs and, yeah, I generally would agree that Elliott was a better songsmith and likely had far more technical know-how than Kurt did. However, Nirvana's music resonates on such a broad level culturally, it's really unfair to even compare the two of them. Miss them both and wish they were still around!
