Hey there from Kentucky in the US. You have the Susan magnolia. I have the Jane magnolia in my back garden. I love how it will put out a few sporadic blooms during the summer after the big spring flush. I love the Irish yews in your beds! I'm trying to also add some evergreens into my flower beds. I planted a Juniperus communis "Gold Cone" this spring. I love the chartreuse spring color and blue-green color for the rest of the year. My Rozanne geranium sadly has not done well this year for me. I cut it back during the summer and it just now slowly trying to grow back. I usually cut back my David Austin roses at least by half after the first heavy frost. That may not happen here until mid-December though. It was good to see your garden again. Take care & happy gardening!

Hi James. I think the evergreens are definitely worth it. I am happy to see the Irish Yews being larger each year that passes and I am glad that I added them in even though they where an afterthought. I hope that the Susan Magnolia will establish well - It had a lot of roots going around the pot, so had to remove some of them. Having planted it in autumn I hope that it will have the time to recover before next summer. I also think that the Magnolias that provide the occasional flower throughout summer are are the best ones. I looked up Magnolia Jane - what a beauty. Thank you for watching - and happy gardening to you too!

So much inspiration! I'd really like to see you do a tour for every single month of the year, even the really dead ones like January. I think it would be interesting to come back and see when it gets warmer! Great video.

I do plan on putting up a winter video or two. I must admit that I am already looking forward to the Garden waking up again, even though that won't happen for a long time. Thank you for watching and stay tuned for more videos :)
