He was late and left his dog in his car. So who was going to kill Ruby to keep him from talking, he lived another three years. If anyone wanted Kennedy out of the way all they had to do was expose his many many women .

Jack Ruby's (Rubenstein's) correct date of birth is March 25, 1911...not 1921. You would think that, after that many arrests, they could at least get his birthdate squared away.

First time hearing of Capt. King. He must have been sidelined after the events. He has never been mentioned . Interesting to find out where he went or what happened to him.

Quite revealing! Also here are some other facts about Jack Ruby: Earned the nickname "Sparky" due to his famous violent temper. He opened The Carousel Club in 1954 and kept ownership until he went to jail in 1963. He built up a friendly relationship with the Dallas police chiefly because he was running an establishment that they could easily close down, one of the reasons being Ruby's alleged ties to organized crime figures. This relationship allowed him access to come and go at police headquarters and is how he was able to have access to the garage on the day he murdered Lee Harvey Oswald. When the Warren Commission came to Dallas, Ruby asked on eight occasions to be taken to Washington to testify, to no avail.

He thought he would be a big hero, and be let off for time served. Once he understood his masters had done an Oswald and fed him to the Texas electric chair, then he was willing to talk. So then they had to silence him.

@@jackieow I doubt he did it because he thought he would be a hero. Whatever his circumstances with the mob he probably had no choice. In October '66 he was granted a retrial on an appeal of the location of his original trial and this retrial was scheduled for March '67. He was diagnosed with cancer in December '66 and died Jan '67. There was no way Oswald or Ruby could be allowed talk.

@@TT_1221 No, Ruby was very confident and proud of himself, boasting about killing Oswald. He had dozens of congratulatory telegrams posted all over his cell walls and enthusiastically showed them off to visitors as a tribute to his vanity. He thought they proved the world was saluting his hero status. Some reports claim he had syphilis of the brain, hence his thinking would not necessarily be expected to be particularly logical. $50,000 from the mob was another incentive.

Oswald was supposed to be killed when he was going home and then the theater, but he out maneuvered those pursuing him, until safely arrested. The murderers seeking Whitehouse control started panicking, and needed a big favor from Ruby. Hey, Rube, is the circus call for help by the circus members that summons and assembles the others for assistance.

@@bookofrevelation4924 Ruby was prepaid to get Oswald shot at the theater. He had his people guiding police to the back alley and calling in cops from the shoe store. The Oswald caught there and arrested out the front was the Hungarian doppelganger. The real American Oswald came in and didn't pay, then hid upstairs, then was arrested out the back way. But Hungarian Oswald was supposed to be finished off after spooked into the back alley. That's why the DPD was there the morning of Nov. 22 shoving janitor Tom Bowden out of the way and learning the layout. They were going to panic Oswald out to the back alley to be shot, but for once he didn't go along with the plan. Oswald originally wasn't headed for home, but on a different bus to the Gloco station then the theater when Tippit took him there. But Oswald heard about blood on JFK's head, and there were traffic jams, so he decided to deviate to Beckley to get his gun. As Michael Paine said at Bell Helicopter, hearing about Oswald's arrest on the radio, "Goddamit! That moron wasn't supposed to have a gun on him!" Ruby wasn't called in to finish off Oswald. He was on their hooks for it long before Nov. 22, which is when he was prepaid $50,000.

_"Funny"_ enough, Jack Rubenstein's conviction for shooting Oswald *WAS overturned* by a Texas Court (see the end of this comment) and Jack was scheduled for another Trial. But somehow, the otherwise healthy Jack Ruby was now victim to very aggressive Cancer once he was incarcerated. Apparently, Dallas cares for their prisoners/witnesses the same way they care for their Assassin/witnesses. So, a technicality was going to get Jack a new Trial. Was this part of his motivation? I would think that for someone as well connected as Jack was, the answer would be; "Yes!". Jack was apparently in debt but felt that he was "needed" by Dallas Police for the free drinks and free girls he provided them. One fact is clear; Jack Ruby was intelligent enough to mark his movements the day he shot Oswald. Only minutes before (while the Press was waiting for Oswald in the basement and Oswald _"...was late"),_ Jack Ruby wired an employee some money from the Western Union office just outside of the Dallas Police Department building. That's a very traceable transaction, verifiable by more than one party. Good thinking Jack. Anyway, outside and looking up, one could see the windows on one side of the 2nd floor police department corridor, one end being rooms where Oswald was interrogated (without any records being made of it)' the other end was where an elevator to the basement was located. Anyone wearing a dark suit or police uniform might not he distinguished from anyone else dressed the same but a Tan Colored Suit would easily be seen, there and in the basement of the DPD. One might even wave and be recognized, if they knew that someone familiar was down there, viewed only moments before from a different, 2nd floor clear glass window. *Please Note:* _"Ruby's conviction was overturned by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals_ Rubenstein v. State, 407 S.W.2d 793, 795 (Tex. Crim. Thanks, a severe Tetanus infection can be given to someone by injection that can cause very rapid systemic tissue lesions and infections which is misdiagnosed as cancer to hide the cause as being Tetanus poisoning.

I have 2 years of personal experience fighting tetanus given to me n attempt to kill me, by US Senator Stabenow at a new wound clinic she had built for millions of dollars several years ago. @@jackieow seems like the technical errors were pre-planned for his court case, to intentionally overturn conviction, and give courts control over his placement. I'm curious of the timing of Ruby's illness progression and his court proceedings.

@@bookofrevelation4924 No, the mafia and CIA wanted him dead. Read the Mark Shaw books like "Denial of Justice" and "The Reporter Who Knew Too Much." Ruby's lawyer Melvin Belli deliberately bungled the case, to rig a murder conviction and the death penalty while smiling in his face. Once Ruby understood he had gotten an Oswald-style stab in the back from people who promised him hero status and acquittal, he went for a new trial in another town. That's when CIA doctor Joly West started injecting him with cancer viruses and meds to make him goofier than he was to begin with. Silence via option number two.

Wait a minute. How could this be true? Jetcat, Sttd, Arronz, Randy Harris, and a few others told me that Ruby was just a concerned "Night Club Owner" and they specifically said he was NOT a Criminal. Do you mean he wasn't just concerned about Jacki Kennedy? Does this mean that when he catered the Assassination and gave free drinks to half the force, including D.A. Wade, he might have had a motive? LOL. So the gun running Narcotics selling, Strip Club Pimp has a record? I am shocked.
