Dallas Police Officer J. D. Tippit was laid to rest in Dallas, Texas, with his grieving wife and three young children in attendance. His funeral procession was given a guard of honour by hundreds of Dallas policemen. On Friday 22nd November he had stepped out of his patrol car and been shot at point blank range by an assailant, who had then ducked into a cinema to hide. Tippit was 39 years old when he died. A funeral service for Tippit was held on November 25, 1963, at the Beckley Hills Baptist Church, with the burial following at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas. His funeral was held on the same day as those of both President John F. Kennedy and Lee Harvey Oswald.

Most people don't know that officer Tippits widow was consoled in a telephone call with Jacqueline Kennedy who spoke to the police officer's widow on the suggestion of Bobby Kennedy the 2 widows of November 22 1963 shared their grief

Jacqueline Kennedy did not call, but wrote a handwritten letter to Mrs. Tippit. Attorney General Robert Kennedy was the one who phoned Mrs. Tippet, expressing sympathy on behalf of Jacqueline Kennedy and President Kennedy’s family. A copy of Jacqueline Kennedy’s letter to Mrs. Tippit can be found online.

I get uneasy and depressed this time of the year... the days leading up to the anniversary of the President’s assassination. May he be delivered some semblance of justice one day and may God help us all.

@@davidarbuckle7236 Oswald had a history of violence, he tried to stab his brother, tried to shoot an army officer with the rifle that he used to kill the president and shot officer Tippet in front of witnesses. He's the murderer.

JD Tippit inntercepted the devil in disguise that fateful day and made the smallest but fatal error of giving him the benefit of the doubt for a few seconds without drawing on him first.

In a documentary film by Francis R. Conolly, entitled 'JFK to 9-11: Everything Is a Rich Man's Trick', the following is alleged-and I strongly emphasize the word "alleged" and add Sheherazade's familiar disclaimer, "but God is all-knowing": Officer Tippit was shot and killed, not by Lee Harvey Oswald, but by a CIA operative by the name of G. Gordon Liddy, to obtain a suitable corpse for a "body switch", for the purpose of hijacking the Kennedy autopsy so as to support the official narrative that the kill shot was fired by Oswald from behind the President. Thus, the body that Jackie and Bobby were shown was actually that of Tippit in its surgically altered condition, not of Kennedy; and Jackie was heard to say, "That's not Jack!" However, this begs the question, how were the details of Tippit's funeral arrangements handled so that his family would be assured that everything was on the up-and-up, and not suspect any shenanigans? Perhaps, the only answer is, "How does the CIA do ANYTHING?"

In that case, genius, we look forward to you now of course explaining away ALL of the following: - Tippit's body still being autopsied back in Dallas while Air Force One landed at D.C. with Kennedy's body on board - both bodies being firmly in custody at all times - both bodies being viewed by family, friends and co-workers - Tippit's funeral being open-casket - Jackie's words in fact simply meaning the dead Kennedy she was viewing was not the living, breathing husband she had loved, not because she thought it was a different body in the casket !!!! - how you safely approach scores of police officers, FBI, Secret Service, military personnel, doctors, pathologists, photographers, x-ray technicians, ballistics experts, witnesses, etc., and persuade them all to obey illegal orders to fake the autopsy, assist a bloody coup, and bend over backwards making themselves all eternally loyal accessories to murder and treason - how it's a BETTER idea to commit another murder, switch caskets, steal bodies, perform surgeries, alter wounds, destroy evidence, falsify reports, fake photos, forge x-rays, commit perjury by the dozen, bluff their way through subsequent investigations, and pile coverups atop coverups instead of just leaving well enough alone and saying Oswald must have had an accomplice who got away, which would have suited any conspiracy just fine - how the imposter shooting Tippit could possibly know Oswald was still at liberty, had no alibi, and had come to that general neighbourhood - Oswald being subsequently seen trying to hide, getting caught red0handed trying to shoot a second cop, and fighting police like such a violent maniac 3 officers were injured just disarming him - Oswald observing, "Well, they say it only takes a minute to die" after asking about the penalty for cop-killing - the fact Liddy wasn't in Dallas at the time - what Plan B was if Tippit simply outdraws and captures his attacker, blowing the whole plot - Everything is a Rich Man's Trick being the stupidest piece of lie-packed paranoid garbage ever made, showcasing one notorious liar and demonstrable grifter after another. Thanks in advance for clearing all this up, I'm confident you will be highly persuasive.

Tippit was a War Hero, but beyond that, it is really hard to know if he was one of the good guys or not. No one can explain why he was in Oak Cliff when all Police officers were called to the Book Depository. And yet several of the witnesses said they recognized his car because it was THERE ALL THE TIME. One woman stated the car was parked in front of the house WHERE HE LIVED. And yet he lived nowhere near there and his route was 7 miles away. Supposedly, he was having a romantic affair with a waitress from Austin's BBQ who lived at that exact location. Was Tippit patroling for Oswald? And, if so why did he get out of his car without drawing his pistol?

Markham said she witnessed the shooting before the bus arrived. (1:06) @ 1:03 PM the Dispatcher said she could not reach Tippit on his radio. @ 1:06 he leaves the gas station at a high rate of speed south on Lancaster. @ 1:11 PM he goes into Top 10 Record Store and hurriedly makes a phone call, and leaves frantically. and goes North to Sunset. the Oswald person was seen leaning in the window of Tippit's car. There were fingerprints on the car door but they were not Oswald's. Tippit's Death Certificate was 1:15. (typed over 1:09 written with a pen) Callaway says he placed Tippit's gun on the hood of the car and told others he used it to chase the Oswald person down the street. It is a complete mess with witnesses.

@@chrisbrown8640 No witnesses stated that. Calloway supposedly took Tippit's revolver and followed after Oswald, but he told the Warren Commission that he placed it on the hood of the car. There isn't much evidence that the shooter was Oswald. Clemons said of the two men who were there at the shooting the "Oswald" one was TALL and thin. (who the hell would describe Oswald as Tall?) The other was short and stocky. Hollum said that the second man followed a 2nd car that was in the alley and blocked by Tippit's patrol car when it backed out of the alley which eventually led to Patton St. She was right across the street in a 2nd-floor window. Jeana Davis said that Tippit was parked in front of the house where HE LIVED. (He did not live there) She also stated that the police were there within seconds even before Oswald had disappeared around Patton.
