That early morning sunrise with the fog was really cool. Weekends are always tough to fish, especially on a nice summer day. Its a little better in the fall, but still busier than normal.

Lake Lanier is an hour from Atlanta, so you can imagine how busy it is. I prefer fishing during the week.

Man that sunrise is awesome looking coming thru the smoke on the water. ( steam, fog, whatever ya wanna call it ) I saw more deer in the water this year than ever. Wish I could make my own jigs but we can’t use lead in NH so I’m relegated to buying Tungsten. Party boats….one of the reasons I like fishing smaller ponds that motor boats can’t access. Good stuff Dana…. As always !

I sure do, when I need to. I am not a live scope guy, but I fish where the fish are. As the winter goes on, I will be catching more off shore fish.
