I love the martingale collar that we got when we adopted our dog! It's been useful in helping him learn not to go too far too fast if he's on a sniff walk. Another invaluable thing has been chews! Our dog is mouthy but full grown. we're still on the hunt for our favorite chew. Also, do you have/would you consider making a video about the hands free leash process? I don't see one in the uploads but I could have missed it!

Amanda - yes!! Martingales are probably my favorite training collar - good one! 😊 For chews, I really like C.E.T. Chews from Virbac. They are dental chews that look and feel like rawhide but they breakdown in the system (traditional rawhides do not and can cause blockage if too big of a piece is swallowed). Some dogs will savor them for a good 20-30 minutes, one of my dogs tends to down them in about 5. I've given the pig ears, beef tracheas, and chicken feet. The dogs go nuts over them but they're pricey and gone in 60 seconds 😆 Great idea on the hands-free leash! You'd think I'd already have a proper video out there on my favorite leash 🤔 I need to add that to the rotation for sure! Thanks so much for the suggestion.

Any chance of you doing a video on proper crate training? My new adopted mixed husky breed who is 3 is having a really hard time adjusting to being in the crate despite going through crate training just like I did with my other dog who loves his crate. She cries non stop and is biting and kicking at the door crate

David - excellent suggestion. I haven't found a full crate training video out there that covers everything I'd like to cover in one training video so I'll be adding this to my list! I do suggest watching this crate training tip from @simpawticodogtraining kzbin.info/www/bejne/g4LagoxpaJernsU this is one tool to add to your tool box that may help. A few more pointers to hopefully help: Keep the crate door open during the day and randomly drop some fun stuff (treats or a novel toy) in there without closing the door for free choice. Practice closing the door only for a 20 seconds or so at a time and asking for a calm exit (no bolting out but waiting for a release cue). Try to be super excited when it is crate time but be very neutral when opening the door to let him out. Be sure not to ever use the crate as punishment. Try timing his independent crate time after you've had a play session and a skill session so that he is more likely to be in rest mode. When you have him enter the crate, use a frozen kong or other safe chewy to keep his mind busy and happy until he can rest. Hi Kyla! Everything except the Nom Nom fresh food ships internationally. The only reason we aren't shipping the two weeks worth of food is because it's important for fresh food to be stored and shipped fresh - the standards are very high. Nom Nom hasn't nailed down the system for that internationally just yet. Everything else in the giveaway can be shipped internationally. 😊
