Looks like Apollo ❤tunes Musical Bird soft music he loves. You can see he very interested how beautiful. I had my bird he loved Nat King Cole. I'm not joking. He dances on the top of his cage most morning yep! We both dancing to the music. So nice. Birds love music very much not to loud. 👌

Those shrock Shrek clogs really make the video! The gifts are really nice, and it’s always funny to see the birds suddenly flying. I’m curious about those dried maggots. I feed my wild birds dried mealworms (and live ones too - they are expensive and i spoil my little birds.) I’ve mailed dried mealworms as gifts to people with pet chickens. But if birds like the maggots, they could be fun too

Oh i would love to see more videos like this! I know you've said neither of you are particularly comfortable talking in front of a camera but i think you should be happy with yourselves because this was a lovely short video, i would watch/listen to an hour of this even if it was less edited. Plus, a good thing with the video format compared to the livestream format is that you guys don't have to answer the same 10 questions over and over again hehe :]

Parrot's generally are very difficult pets and Caiques even more so because they are very hormonal.

I want a parrot too, but I’ll make sure i know as much as I can about them before I even consider getting one

​@@diamondsimon020if you really want one, just know they live a really long time. It is like adopting a child who communicates through biting and shouldn't be punished. If that still makes sense for your world, a good place to start would be to volunteer at a local bird rescue and see if there are birds you might bond with. Cockatiels and Budgies (both small parrots) can be SLIGHTLY easier to manage because their beaks are smaller, but they are still long-term family members who need a lifetime of love and care and proper diet. Parrots are also very messy and it can be pricey to keep a house safe and clean for them, so do a lot of research beforehand and make sure it works for your budget. Parrots need large cage/enclosures, too, but the bars have to be the right width apart for the breed or they could injure your bird (whether too wide or too narrow). Also be prepared to have your sleep schedule permanently changed. I hope this helps. 🙂
