Same here. I went from wet spaghetti straight to fluffy curls! Plus my feet increased a size with each kiddo. Children really do change you nD

My hair went from super curly to just wavy when I had my kiddo almost 9 years ago. I haven't been able to coax my curls back. Hormonal changes do weird things. Also, take the time you actually need to get back into things, don't push yourself too hard or you'll get burned out so fast. Cute setup, and enjoy time with your little one!

I hadn't noticed your hair! Each time I've been pregnant my hair gets so soft and beautiful but also a lot falls out, and my fingernails get crazy strong and long!

I notice your hair and thought it was how you are fixing it. Our hair definitely can change with pregnancy, birth, and nursing. I only had a little bit of wave prior to being pregnant, after both my children I noticed a little more curl in my hair, my oldest is 36 and the curl is still here. It will be interesting to see what happens as your hormones level out, “they” say it takes a year for a woman’s body to return to pre-pregnancy health. You are so beautiful and look so happy! You don’t look tired at all!

Great theme! Oh, and, pregnancy hair! Mine went thick and straighter. Lots of my hair fell out at about 6 months after I had my daughter, (like loads would come out on my hairbrush, but no bald patches or anything) and then it went back to being fine and wavy. So fascinating all these things that happen during pregnancy! And lifestyle - do you have any eco shops near you? We like going to our local one, where you take your own containers and fill up to buy, instead of buying with all the packaging.

I did not notice a huge difference with your hair, but I will say that my hair definitely changed texture with each kid (I have three). My hair is not as curly as it used to be, but it is a lot coarser. For what it's worth, you hair looks healthy and gorgeous regardless!

I definitely noticed less volume in your hair but didn't realize it was because you're losing the curls! My hair has always been THICK and straight, but somehow it got thicker in pregnancy and it never thinned out again. I have more hair now than I ever have and honestly, I am not here for it. It is too heavy! Also, when I was hospitalized during pregnancy, my parents stayed at my apartment (since my husband always stayed at the hospital with me) and my mom hated my PUR water pitcher so she bought me a Berkey filter. It sounds like it's very similar to the one you got, except mine is one that sits on the counter and its pretty darn big. I also run into the issue of the filters slowing down, but since the reservoir on ours is pretty large, it isn't a huge problem, we just fill it before bed and let it filter overnight.

Oh I’ve heard such great things about the Berkey! Maybe one day I’ll have enough space for something like that :)

It is normal for pregnancy to change hair textures. Some people get curlier, and others get straighter. Don't stress it too much. If it bothers you, you can consider getting a perm, or straightening your curls.

I’m not surprised by your hair changing after pregnancy. I’ve heard of women noticing their hair thinning after pregnancy, so maybe yours just came in straight. As far as calligraphy, I’d find worksheets super helpful. Thanks!

My hair went the other direction, from just slightly wavy to curly. It's starting to relax out now, 7 years later. But the grey/ white hairs coming in do seem to be much curlier than my hair has ever been.

You look great Rylee. Love the layouts and theme.🎃 The hair might go back to curly once your done feeding or producing for the baby. Your body is adjusting to the baby no longer being inside and chemical difference. Once your done should be back to normal. Also you might loose some hair which is normal.

Biologist here - water is gross. Fluoride isn't my biggest concern but all the medications everyone is peeing into the water and pesticides and hydrocarbons from run off is a huge issue in my opinion. I use reverse osmosis filtration (hooked up to my plumbing) which does remove the minerals but is worth it to me to ensure it gets out all the nasty chemicals. Plus, I only change the filters once a year. I'd love to learn about your mattress! It's so hard to find non-toxic beds/pillows.
@RyleeAutumn2 жыл бұрын
Yes!! So disgusting 🤮 I’m only beginning to learn about all of that kind of stuff, but it didn’t take much to convince me that I needed some sort of filter

Pregnancy and breastfeeding is as shocking to your hair as it is to your body. Texture change is normal in my experience (though it changed more with my 2 boys than with my 2 girls). Also you’ll go through postpartum hair loss and regrowth (regrowth feels like lots of uncontrollable frizz). It’s an adventure for sure, but totally worth it to bring that precious soul into your life 💕 Love your style and how you keep it simple to create, but fun and beautiful to look at!
