@@mercedes_hall 1. being with characters for so long and then the series coming to an end is so weird. Because the whole point is they start to feel like real people, and then they’re gone! 2. It’s actually finally started to rain here so I am planning for a lot of cozy autumn evenings with a book! Even if I set myself up for failure 😂 3. Thank you! 🥹 took me so long how to not look like an emo since that was the only makeup vibe I had for my entire adolescence 🫣 4. I neeeeeed to rope you into a buddy read sometime! 5. Yes!! I love vlogs, so very much looking forward to seeing these. I love the idea of your friends picking your tbr. Im very much looking forward to seeing what you think of The Wickwire Watch. Ive had it on my radar for a while and so nearly keep buying it...but haven't done yet. So maybe you will persuade me 😅 Im definitely a seasonal reader....as in, autumn and winter, I just want to read dark stories, large epic fantasy series etc and in the spring and summer, I tend to read lighter things and standalone books. Im planning on continuing with my Stormlight Archive reading during November, along with other things. I am currently on Words of Radiance book 1 .

@@rebecca.reader I get so many great recommendations for my friends that I thought having them pick three for me to read seemed like a fun way to do it! I’m very curious about Wickwire Watch as well, it’s a bit out of my comfort zone which is exciting! I’m like you, not seasonal in the setting more in the bigger, denser, darker books for the colder seasons and lighter ones for the warm weather. How are you liking Stormlight so far?

Sorry, missed this...yes, I'm really liking Stormlight. I think I am really in the mood for epic at the moment so it's scratching that itch. I finished The Realm of the Elderlings at the beginning of the year and had been really missing being in an epic world. While Stormlight is very different, it's captivated my interest. I want to rake it slowly though as there are so many concepts to get your head around.

@ I’m hoping Stormlight will grab me. As I’m only half a book in technically I don’t have particularly strong thoughts yet. If this one doesn’t take I’m going for War of Light & Shadow by Janny Wurts as my next big series.

I've been loving Stephen king lately, I haven't picked up the dark tower series though, it's sort of intimidating... Great video!

no comment on my progress with temeraire 👀😹 i gave up on the dark tower after book two, it just found them really rough

@@ConnorStompanato I mean if you’re not a series reader it’s a hell of a commitment. Especially with the ups and downs the series has. I 💯 would not be continuing Dark Tower of my own accord. 😂 (come to think of it, all the above about Temeraire applies here haha!)
