been on a bit of a cyberpunk kick since playing cyberpunk2077. and finding music for a playlist centric to it. GITS manages to hit that tone much more often than some other sources i've looked for currently.

You might disagree with me, but I estimate these iterations of Ghost in the Shell to be on a level with Cowboy Bebop as far as storytelling goes. Apples and oranges? Perhaps. A wise friend of mine told me once that everyone's sense of aesthetics is a bit different.

They are both genre defining anime classics: Cowboy Bebop, the film noire question of is this life real, or just a dream? And Ghost in the Shell in all it's iterations, the very definition of cyberpunk, and one of the most original visions of our future since Gibsons' "Neuromancer." Love them both, and I am old enough to remember that they were both required viewing for any newbies' entry into the anime universe, along with Evangelion, Last Exile, Haruhi Suzumiya, Basilisk, FLCL, Elfen Leid, and Black Lagoon, to name a few.

Your intelligence doesnt grow from watching this kind of shows, the plot is already procesed to make it accesible. Вот, лучше бы его - фильм Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. Solid State Society показывали в кинотеатрах в 2017 году вместо тупого безмозглого блокбастера. Эх, а было бы классно, если бы внезапно вместо нового фильма показывался этот 2006 года. хотел бы я увидеть лица зрителей в таком случае. Или кто-то тайком бы подменил фильмы))) Голову даю на отсечение, что фильм бы понравился даже тем что далек от аниме, потому что он изначально создавался не по лекалам жанра, он не стандартен во многих вещах, от того его и полюбили в мире. Вот, а блокбастер покажут тупой и стандартный, в этом я не сомневаюсь ни капли!
