Some things I love about the SAC series is The action is very fluid and fast unlike most action animes They do a great job of blending CGI with 2D animation with the Tachikomas I'm a big fan of Neo noir stories and this series is no exception. Motoko Kusanagi is a BADASS character with a tame but also a bit of a snarky personality.

I forgot to say, at 5:58, I love how it zooms in on Batou's smirk. It reminds me of when he smiles, says "Hi!", and then pulls a guy through a window by his face in the first season.

I'll be honest, Ghost in the Shell never held much interest for me when I was younger. The plot seemed too complicated for me to follow, but every time it aired on Adult Swim I'd be sure to stay for at least the opening theme song, for the first and second ones.

Anytime Ghost in the Shell came on Toonami, I would attempt to watch it since it was between two shows I liked, but I just could never get into it. I love the songs for the show, but never figured out the actual story

SAC: 2nd Gig was an awesome series - not quite as awesome as the story of the Laughing Man was, but the Individual Eleven story line still was quite captivating and interesting. A lot more politics than the 1st one. Surprisingly I kind of enjoy this opening more than Inner Universe, which I love to bits and pieces. This one has a bit more of a "badass" feel to it.
