Chainsaw is now Noveske’s forged product offering, based on a hybrid of our Gen 1 and Gen 4 designs. We have modified the basic M4 look to match our Gen 4 aesthetic of intentional lines / smooth fit.
With this redesign, we created an entirely new upper forging, alongside updating some components to slim the overall cost down; maintaining all quality parts that our rifles are known for!

@@hodog175 I think that may be the problem. Happens with most manufacturers once they get a military contract. The everyday user who made the reputation that the company earned usually get moved to the back and understandably so. If anyone opens a business with the mindset of staying small as possible is probably doomed. People have to make the most of opportunities given like a government contract. Still doesn’t suck any less when one saves up for an already really expensive product they’ve been wanting and can only get it on the secondhand market at an even bigger price tag.

But John Noveske was a man who tailored the rifles and started the trend of large muzzle device hidden by the handguard. He died under very unusual cicumstances after a social media post about the relationship of Pysc medication and mass shooters. It seems the estate is just selling the Name as branding at a very high premium without contributing much to innovation or culture that he had created. I get that people want to honor him. I just find it distasteful.
