Unfortunately I have not been able to get there for one year now. I am hoping to spend half the year there when I retire.

Too bad you didnt see Rovinj a little town also in Istria..you would love it. Also Zadar, town in Dalmatia (see organs that play music by the waves) and Plitvice lakes are must see in Croatia. Btw this channel has to have more views. Nice editing and just for relaxed watching...Come to Zagreb then for Christmas in 2021 :)

These are really not cities or villages. These are small tourist towns on the coast. City is a term for big towns, and village is a term for a place where people raise cattle, chickens and engage in agriculture

I was so pleased that the american family that you met in Croatia made their way to NZ. For an American family being stuck in Europe must seem like being stuck in Europe at the start of WW2, except that no country is neutral. Also, check out the Alex the Vagabond channel on KZbin and Instagram, about a guy with dual US/NZ citizenship leaving the US to emigrate to NZ with his American partner. It's fascinating!
