Lyrics: Catapulted, finally made to go. Parabolic, fighting a stranglehold. Tear me from it, fears were manifold, terraform it, I was an embryo. It might be a little while, but maybe we’ll realign soon. Made to reassign, but find me a little time too! Half euphoric, fixing the ratios, teleport me, I’ve been pushing the envelope. All ironic, given the way she slowed. You’re iconic, given the way you froze. Call me out, stay platonic, I’ll find a chaperone… …wait around, forget mnemonics, I’ll regret it years ago. Spare me all the ceremony, dialling in all your pheromones, to cite a life in histrionics! The way you left was apropos.

actually saw a documentary a few years ago on these poor people who sacrifice their lifes to extract sulphur, it's a job that they pass on to their sons because there is no hope for a better future...it completely broke my heart and I did not forget them, seeing them today poetically portrayed in this video by my favorite group made me cry...thank you for raising awareness in such an egotistic world. It saddens me that they're sacrificing their lives doing this when we have excess sulphur to export here in Canada. We stack it 100's of metres high in what literally looks like castle-forts of yellow. It's a cast-off by-product from our gas production. We have so much of it and no one is buying it. Too bad we don't just sell it for cheap and donate the proceeds to help these poor communities find a better life...

Don't you both know it. And if you're normal, except for the fact that you've been totally blind all your life, people still label you as disabled. I even heard someone tell me that if she had to live with my "disability", she'd commit suicide! It seems that America's lost her mind. We're increasingly unemployed, public transportation is outdated in this country, and nobody wants to even talk to me unless it's about whatever they're interested in, and relationships here are about sex, power, money and material things. Where's the love? It really is hard to connect with people over here, and I especially dislike politics, because it's become completely overrated and nobody really knows anything but what's going on in the private lives of politicians and superstars. We are so twisted! We need public transportation here, but if I mention it to anyone, it's immediately crushed under a pile of economic and racial excuses. It's absurd!
@ericr55617 жыл бұрын
Heather, that sounds very sad. I'm American and have lived in Asia for many years. Every country has their issues, but I think your experience sounds fairly negative. Fortunately I have not had a negative experience in America and I am proud to be American.
@catarinasofia28507 жыл бұрын
We need to share our experiences to make people aware how this need to stop. It is absurd how many people are treated, judged and nobody does anything. Money can be used for good things if the right people really cared. Heather whatever it is your "disability" you are worthy of everything. you have value, more than anybody because you have to get the strength to overcome your limitations, and that makes you, even more stronger. when people say that, it is their fear speaking.
@heatherstub7 жыл бұрын
Yes it is. My twin sister went blind for two years, and she refused to admit it until she suffered a car accident. I was so glad that she decided to leave Jake at home when she went grocery shopping, because if he'd been in the car when it happened, he would have been killed. That's why I believe nothing really happens by accident, even though that's what we call it. It was so hard to tell her how scared I was to be in the car with her, because I knew she wouldn't take it well. After it happened, she still wouldn't admit that she was legally blind. So it's fear and denial. I also tell people that denial isn't a river in Egypt. Haha. Yes, I have a sense of humor. You wouldn't believe some of the jokes I tell. How many blind people does it take to change a lightbulb? What difference does it make? We can't see anyway.

there are these songs, ones that give me feelings I don’t know what to do with. Immeasurable unworthiness to live the life I live. Ones that propel through space and time, ones that put me in the place of the character. A character that exists. He leads the life of desperation, poverty, and honor. He sacrifices for those he loves every day, while I sit here, counting my dispositions. Sizing up the world around me, trying to get my bearings straight so I can attack my environment. He is a slave to it. He toils, his lungs fill with sulfer, he catches his breath with poison. All for nothing, not for prosperity, or the even the hope that there is a better life out there, but because he must. Because the Hand he has been dealt has impurity tattooed on itself. But he presses on

I'm still listening in 2022 and it repeats itself. thank you for making beautiful music, thank you for bringing up the story of the ijen crater miner. After seeing the behind-the-scenes footage of "terrafrom" I was so touched, and I cried. how big the struggle of a father to support his family. Thanks again Novo Amor
